First time here and we will be back soon.Tried dim sum and the wonton soup both were good, but the star of the show were the honey glazed prawns.

Have only been here twice, but both visits were great. Dishes are very neat & clean; atypical of many restaurants. Straight up OG Chinese food and some dishes with a slight culinary twist.

I was pleased to find the large space, which is typical of dimsum restaurants. Disappointed to learn that it is order off the menu only. There were o carts. We ordered a lot of food. The food did not taste fresh, nor was it hot. The dumplings tasted as though they were sitting in the kitchen for awhile. I would not return.

“The best Cantonese Chinese restaurant in LA Westside is right here!”LA's food is diverse.Chinese food is one of the most popular food genres, so popular that there is a Chinese restaurant on every block, but strangely, there are almost no proper Chinese restaurants in the West area of LA. For me, as a Korean, this is truly a sad thing. Meanwhile, a new Chinese restaurant opened on La Cienega Blvd, where high-end restaurants are concentrated, and I visited it five times during my one year in the United States. And when I left the U.S., it became the restaurant I was most sad to part with. Let me summarize my visits to the restaurant.#atmosphereFirst of all, everyone from Usher to the servers are Chinese. It is quite rare to find a restaurant staffed entirely by Chinese in the Beverly Hills area, but the staff here is made up entirely of Chinese, as if boasting a certain authenticity. The interior has a neat and luxurious atmosphere as if it were a restaurant located in a high-end restaurant area. The spacious and open interior, bright lighting, and white tablecloths are clean.#menuThe menu is great. As a seafood restaurant, there are lobsters, crabs, clams, shrimps, fish, etc. and even a variety of roast duck and dim sum menus. Every time I visit, I order a variety of different menu items.#lobsterIn the United States, when you order lobster, most people give you Maine lobster. (The one with the big claws we commonly know...) Perhaps because I visited in early January, I recommended Australian lobster as the holiday special lobster. The server boasted that it was much bigger and meatier. So, I placed an order, but I was a little nervous because the price was cheap. The lobster the server brought out was a monster lobster that was difficult to hold with one hand (I'm regretting not taking a picture for a long time). My wife and I agreed to order the giant lobster we only saw on TV.- Two offers – freeFirst of all, I asked for it to be cooked with the house special sauce... and the server made two special suggestions.1. I will cook the tail with special sauce and the head and legs with Chinese soup.2. Laying noodles under lobster dishes looks amazing.I said OK to both suggestions and waited for my food.- Special sauceLobster The lobster cooked Chinese style is amazing, and the sauce here is really delicious.A classic dish with a salty and slightly spicy taste! The amount of meat was huge and the meat was chewy, so I was very satisfied. In addition, the egg noodles under the salty sauce are soft and a great recommendation to satisfy your carbohydrate needs!- Lobster SoupThe light lobster soup with a subtle ginger flavor was refreshing. In addition, I added nurungji to make it <lobster nurungji stew>, and the combination of the cool seafood flavor and the savory nurungji was surprisingly excellent.- seedsEven if the seeds are thick, will they be this thick?I usually don't eat lobster legs, but on this day, the lobsters were so huge that I was really surprised that the peeled lobster legs were as big as my finger. Plus, the lobster leg meat was really chewy, making it more fun to eat.- priceI thought it was a really good price since it cost 250,000 won in our money for being this size and cooked like this.#Clam_Basil #Stir-fried Basil ClamBasil is used a lot in Chinese cuisine... especially when combined with clams, its power is doubled. As this restaurant specializes in seafood, the basil seeds are huge. It is not the small clams that are used in soup at Korean clam kalguksu restaurants, but larger clams than your thumb. I am delighted by the size of the clams and amazed by the richness of their flesh. Isn't the perfect combination of the scent of basil and pepper and garlic the most delicious shellfish dish in the world? It's a happy dish that makes you feel like you're doing it.#Beijing_Duck #BeijingDuckAlthough it is a seafood restaurant, the barbecue lineup is also excellent. What's unique about this restaurant's Peking duck is... The carving method is similar to carving c

They cut down their dim sum menu significantly. We used to not mind paying the premium prices for the convenience of west side location. But now that we can't get our favorites (no rice rolls! ?). What we did eat was delicious. Service was just okay.

Create Chinese food ??

Disappointed

This place used to be much better. Must have changed chef or management. Sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves had only one small slice of Chinese sausage and the rest was all rice! Never seen that before at ANY dim sum place. Steamed BBQ pork bun was soggy. Typical dim sum dish (prawns/beef/BBQ pork wrapped in rice noodle) was no longer on the menu. Will probably not come back for dim sum. Too bad. Wanted to support an authentic Chinese restaurant in this area.

Big restaurant, great Dim Sum, quick service, reasonable price! My only criticism is the lack parking on a busy weekend, but understandable.

We went to Capital Seafood on a Thursday at 5:00 pm. My hubby needs to eat early. It was perfectly wonderful. We had our pick of seating; all service was above and beyond. The food is the Star. I had never had duck, and the Peking duck was delightful. We got 1/2 duck for three people, and it was perfect if you want other dishes. The house special lobster is Amazing (delicious and with an awesome presentation, and I usually like a simple steamed lobster)! We had the “special” green beans and the filet mignon appetizer. It was all fantastic. Just go, and you'll be surprised. Oh, and the margaritas were some of the best I've had all over this city. We were gifted desert - mango custard. Also delicious. Everything was beautiful. We will return for other dishes. Really want to try their Kung Pao shrimp!

We had an unpleasant experience with the service. We started by ordering two appetizer dim sim platters. The servers kept coming back to ask for the rest of our food when we weren't ready. They even gave us some attitude. We ordered everything within 15 minutes of sitting down. Our entrees came first. About 45 minutes in when we were done with our first entree we asked about our appetizer plate and they told us it was still being prepared. By the time our second entree came and we were done with all of our food, our appetizer plates had still not arrived. Meanwhile, I saw other tables who arrived after us receiving this item. I called our waiter and asked them to cancel the order. A couple minutes after I asked the waiter, i saw another table receive the appetizer plates we had ordered who were recently sat at their table. Shortly after, an employee approached us to say “I see you cancelled your order, it's not a problem for us, we gave it to that table”, pointing to the other table. I thought this attitude was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. We were really excited to try the items and unfortunately weren't even able to try them, and they were miraculously ready for the next table. Generally the food that we got was good and the waiters were nice, other than that one employee that was really rude. Sadly, I won't be returning to this establishment.
