I was late for a meeting and thought it might be quick to stop into Caufield's for a coffee to go. Unfortunately, when I got there, their systems had just crashed! I watched as customer after customer walked up to the bar or called from their tables to make requests for additional items, or to place their breakfast order, or to try to add an extra cappuccino...all in the span of a few short minutes! With a fairly packed brunch, that bar/restaurant would have been really difficult for two people to service on their own anyway. But with the system crashed and not rebooting, it was probably supremely stressful. Nevertheless Justin and Franco noticed me immediately and got to me as soon as they could with a friendly smile. They were super warm and calm despite their portal failing them and still managed to get me the coffee and croissant I needed to power me through my important meeting. Their positivity truly improved my day. True heroes and classy guys! The world needs more people like this! Thank you Justin and Franco!

A good bar, with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders and good wait staff. The selection of drinks is among the best I've seen anywhere. These guys know their stuff, and know how to make a customer feel welcome and valued. I often enjoy my time here, especially after a hard working day) It takes all stress away))))))

We stayed in LA this weekend and had brunch on Saturday! The food is delicious. The quiche is moist with a flakey crust, the brioche French toast melts in your mouth, and the Basil Spitzer was refreshing. Fun atmosphere.

Wow such an awful experience here. We were staying at the 60 hotel and thought that it would be easy to have our last dinner at the rooftop bar/restaurant. Boy were we wrong, it was anything but easy. When we arrived for our reservation time, we were told that people were still sitting at the table they intended to give us. Ok no problem, we can wait. We were told we could sit at a large group table and then told to move to another small cramped table because there was a big party on the way. We waited about 50 MINUTES at this small table, without having ordered food, to be seated at a table different than the one we were promised because they had given it away to another party who had arrived much later than us. Not to mention I had ordered a tea when we first arrived and they hadn't delivered it until 50 minutes after I had ordered it. I understand that it's awkward to have to tell a table to leave, but they had a posted rule of a maximum of 90 minutes per party, which they were obviously not enforcing, so why even post it? And what do you know, about an hour and a half later, there was no party "arriving shorty" at the big table we were told to move from. If it were up to me, I would have left them and there, but my boyfriend insisted on staying because we had been waiting so long and ordering UberEats would take an additional hour. So we ordered after flagging a waitress down (she hadn't even looked in our direction yet) and then about 20 minutes later asked to have our food to go because we were sick of being there. The only saving grace was the busboy, who was quite attentive and apologetic for our long wait.

There are few places around like Caulfield's Bar & Dining Room. It is absolutely incredible food. We come there often for the amazing granola and French omelette and we love the chicken and waffles. Out of this world!!! The coffee is also divine. Don't miss out. Worth the long lines.

I love Caulfield's Bar & Dining Room. I've been here several times, and enjoy the simplicity. I really miss their octopus salad, though. I've had several items, but usually get the salt and pepper chicken and steak. Their veggies are always so good and appropriately seasoned. Also, their Agua Frescas are very good (free refills!).

This restaurant is excellent and roomy, the food was enchanting and the rates were very inexpensive. fast, effective service and very friendly staff members. Will definitely recommend this spot.

Our hotel recommended Pearls instead of the shady hamburger joint we were gonna hit and we were glad we did! Me and my husband split a BBQ sauce, cheddar and bacon burger- seriously good business, I would say the best burger I've ever had. What's genius is they offer "Frings", basket of half and half, fries/onion rings.

Nice boards on the windows, not over the top mahogany, but a nice smooth maple finish

The short ribs are amazing. I ordered through Postmates and I plan on visiting the restaurant very soon. I also had the ravioli. It was good but probably better when hot at the restaurant. My new go to place.

It's fine for a neighborhood restaurant/hotel restaurant. I probably won't return. My salad was quite good; I wasn't as impressed w/ my friend's salmon plate. Just looked a bit boring. Atmosphere was just OK. Nothing special. Difficult parking and we had to valet which is expensive. My friend and I wanted a reasonably quiet place to talk and this restaurant worked for that.

At 6:30 PM for dine LA we were the only customers, as a result we had excellent service. The DineLA menu was good portions of the Ahi Tuna dish along with the ravioli and I had the hamburger. Excellent as to the dishes. The apple pie with a cheese cracker crust was very good. I had an "Old Fashion" which would have been greater had the large ice cube took up most of the space in the glass ($16.00) Overall I feel that this restaurant is understated and not promoted as it should be.
