No seating. One cashier and very rude other customers. Waited around for 10-15 minutes while pick up and phone orders were served first.Food was good, but priceyMy recommendation: order ahead and cut the line like everyone else, I guessParking: Not many spots nearby. A customer insisted to be helped first because she was double parked, blocking someone else in

We love Joyce the owner. This sushi place is an old LA institution and has wonderful sushi. You should try the kinta roll, the snow cone cut roll, the spicy salad dressing and more! We'll always come back.

This restaurant is great if you like take out sushi. They used to have a sit down restaurant years ago but has relocated to a pick up only. Sushi rolls are large and justifies the price. It's very tasty and quality is up there. I like how consistent they are. I never had one bad order come from them. You can tell if you're getting questionable fish by the smell of the restaurant and this place never smells bad. I.e. fish that's close to spoiling has this distinct smell. The only downside is that the folks running the place are a bit older so on a busy Friday/Saturday night the order can take a half hour or more. Their website needs a refresh but I uploaded some photos of their menu.

The rolls are generous and there is no sacrifice in quality. Ingredients are fresh and portions are hearty. The baked rolls are well done and actually baked but the sauce on the baked yellowtail was on the sweet side. It's great to see a family business continue to thrive.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options possible

Amazing food! It's been around for as long as I can remember, and I haven't had any sushi better than the sushi at this place.

Crazy Fish: A Quirky Delight That Defies the Tide Alright, fellow Gen Z food enthusiasts, buckle up and get ready for a wild ride as I spill the soy sauce-scented tea on Crazy Fish--a sushi joint that's been making waves and stirring the pot of controversy. But fear not, for I, as a proud member of Generation Z, am here to shed some light and sprinkle a bit of humor on why Crazy Fish is actually the bomb-dot-com and deserves a second chance. Let's start with the rolls, shall we? These bad boys are bigger than life itself! I'm talking colossal, massive, Godzilla-sized rolls that could practically double as a flotation device. And the best part? They're chock-full of high-quality ingredients that'll make your taste buds do the happy dance. You're getting some serious bang for your buck, folks. It's like a sushi fiesta in your mouth, and you won't be able to stop yourself from doing a little sushi jig. Now, let's talk about the owner, the one and only mastermind behind this crazy ship. Picture this: a wise, older Japanese lady who's been running Crazy Fish with an iron fist for the last 300 years. Yes, you heard that right--300 years! She's like a sushi-slinging superhero, with secret skills passed down through generations. Her upbringing in Japan was no walk in the park, my friends. She faced chopstick shortages, soy sauce rationing, and the occasional sushi thief lurking in the shadows. It was a tough life, but it set the stage for her to operate Crazy Fish with the precision of a sushi samurai. Now, let's address the elephant in the room: the infamous ten-cent soy sauce packets. Look, I get it. It may seem stingy, but let's take a moment to appreciate the bigger picture here. Imagine young Grandma Crazy Fish, growing up in a small Japanese village, where soy sauce was practically worth its weight in gold. She had to learn to stretch those umami-filled drops to feed the entire village. So, when she charges a dime for a soy sauce packet, it's not about greed--it's about preserving tradition and giving us a taste of her humble roots. It's like a history lesson with a side of salty goodness. And don't even get me started on the chopsticks! Grandma Crazy Fish is a master of chopstick conservation. It's like she's playing a high-stakes game of Jenga with those slender wooden sticks, making sure not a single chopstick is wasted. Sure, you might have to share with your dining buddy or do some chopstick acrobatics, but hey, it's all part of the Crazy Fish experience. Embrace the challenge, my friends. It's like the sushi version of "Survivor." So, to all those haters out there, give Crazy Fish a chance. Step into Grandma Crazy Fish's world and let her transport you through time and flavor. Embrace the quirks, the giant rolls, the ten-cent soy sauce, and the chopstick shenanigans. It's a culinary adventure like no other, sprinkled with a dash of humor and a pinch of nostalgia. Crazy Fish isn't just a restaurant--it's a living, breathing testament to the resilience and quirkiness of Grandma Crazy Fish herself. So, loosen up and enjoy the ride.

Have to be honest: possibly the worst sushi I have ever had. The people who work there are very nice and so it hurts me to write this, but the fish is just not good. Been there twice now and will never return.

Here are the updated menus for the restaurant. Today I got a combination veggie tempura and teriyaki chicken and a kinta roll 38.87 was my total

Been going to this place for years. Great prices, good food, and owners are always welcoming.

This has been a staple in our family "go to" spots for over 20 years. They moved across the street and that changed our overall experience as we have been going there since the 90's! I recently went back and loved seeing the owners, but loved the food even more. Spicy salmon tempura and Kinta roll were delicious per usual. Perfect for Friday night in repertoire

One of our favorite Sushi spots for 10 yrs, they have now moved across the street from their O.G. locale and pretty much only do take out now. They are still turning out crafted yumminess in the roll sushi and sashimi form so now we just take it home for bedroom picnic. BRJlll
