Stay away from this place?I am an ItalianExecutive Italian chef, and have been living in Beverly Hills for 12 yearsunfortunately this cafe is not bad but the staffespecially the 2 ladies one on 40 ,And the other one on the 57is very rude, she takes confidences thatshouldn't be made with customers.like today I had to ask for a glass of water andhe slammed the glass on me table, and theman next to me got scared, then the cook made me an omelet withsomething that looked like salmon but wasn'tsalmon, and the man with the glasses pretended hewasn't He saw ME,I had to ask him several times to refill mycoffee.Instead the other day the younger girl, she threw a straw in the face of a gentleman, and another day ...but let's leave I could tell about it...I don't understand how the manager of theBeverly hills hotel Don't take action.

The prices are high, but it’s the Beverly Hills Hotel so it’s to be expected! The cocktails do have a heavy pour, which is good. Very friendly staff and a cute look!

Was a nice cute place with only 20 countertop seats available. Loved the jungle wall paper and comfy seats. The place was busy, but the staff handled it well. Had a delicious eggs benedict and an iced coffee. But bring the extra cash not cheap for breakfast. Enjoy!!

We stayed here over night ready for our early morning flight to Barbados to get a cruise. We had a lovely stay nice clean Room and nice bed and pillows. David the owner was very pleasant man. We left our car park in his car parkwhile we were away. David provided us with a breakfast pack up. And took us to the airport. On our return David picked us up and returned to Trundles to pick up our car. Thank you so much for all David did for us.

Service was just, fine. The $16 ~slice~ of cake was awful. It was not the worst slice of cake I have ever had but I would have preferred hostess. In fact I would have been more satisfied if I had paid $16 for a hostess cupcake. And no, the pretty box did not make up for how awful this cake was. WHY WAS THIS SLICE OF CAKE $16? This experience has forever tarnished my opinion of the hotel in which it resides, which I used to hold in the highest regard.

Located in the Beverly Hills Hotel, the coffee shop is a small, intimate, diner style setting, with amazing, simple, diner type dishes. Sandwiches, breakfast dishes & even burgers are available all day. The silver dollar pancakes are a must! The only downside - it's a small space, so you may have to wait for a seat!

Paul Williams designed cafe with a distinctive curvature hidden downstairs at The Beverly Hills Hotel since 1949? Yes please. I'm a s***** for hotel opulence and equally a s***** for down home diner grub and pub fare and you kinda get both here at The Fountain Coffee Shop. The hotel is straight up one of the classiest in Los Angeles and truly a classic. So there's that. But what's nice about this place downstairs is it's decided lack of pretension when considering that right upstairs is The Polo Lounge, a restaurant that defines hotel restaurant fine dining at its best... I peruse the menu after my dental appointment in Beverly Hills and decide upon traditional eggs benedict. It's good. Edible, for sure, and I hit it with salt and pepper and it gets even better. The hash browns it comes with are pretty average and need the help of Tabasco too. The friendly and very attentive waiters and waitresses here never left me wanting for a refill on coffee and I must have had 4 or 5 of the small cups... all in all a very fun meal that, just by the design of the place, will have you talking to those eating near you and to those on the other side of the counter. All in, the $35 bill is exorbitant considering you can get an eggs benedict with coffee at Norm's or Denny's for half the price and the food would be every bit as good, but you don't go to Beverly Hills for deals. You come for the experience of something special and The Fountain Coffee Shop is just that, a joyful and special experience.

A diner style set up. Good syrup for the pancake. I’ve been taking friends who visit LA.

Just driving into the parking lot and through the pristine red carpet and lobby makes you feel like a star...and suddenly you go to the basement and you become real and at home. Many feelings will possess you in your time travel...and you will love the casual and yet amazing mood created in this small kitchen/bar where four waiters will great you like family. The chef will never look up because , with two electric burners he will be creating poached eggs, hash, waffles, bacon and warm syrup to accompany your perfect coffee in white china. I don't want to leave but the pool is waiting....with its amazing bar....
