Celebrating my Birthday at Funke was absolute perfection! The service was superb, ambience excellent, and omg the homemade pastas, focaccia bread, and pizzas are to die for. I always loved Felix but I think Funke is on another level! I can not wait to return to the “Tri Level Pasta Mansion”! ❤️?
I want to love this place, killer ambiance. Attentive staff.. creative menu.. squash blossoms are amazing.. pasta is very lackluster, I would give it 3 stars at best. Thick overly doughy noodles, sauce lacking flavor. I have eaten all over Italy and I would not even ask it to be on par with that, I have had mom and pops in America with better pasta. Passionfruit gelato was amazing.

Funke in West Hollywood offers a delightful dining experience with excellent service. Eleanor, the sommelier, impressed with her Italian expertise, we were a group of first generation Italians so it was nice. The food, especially the rigatoni amatriciana and cacio e pepe, was outstanding, though the gnocchi was a bit mushy.
