Pretty good Italian food. The ravioli was better than the spaghetti.

Food was excellent. Our waiter Massimo was superb he made great recommendations on both wine and food. I was amazed at how well he served everyone dining. Next time I'm in BH this is definitely a place I'll return.

This is by far the most beautiful, sophisticated, and good energy fine dining experience anyone should enjoy ! The owner and his first class staff make you feel like royalty... most highly recommended!

Wonderful dinner here, immaculate vibes. Pasta was a little salty and filet mignon not as tender as I’d hope, but flavors were fantastic otherwise.

We had a girls trip planned and wanted to take our daughters out to a nice Italian restaurant in Beverly Hills. We love the ambience of the courtyard area and the menu that we had enjoyed previously without our kids in tow. Thankfully, Walter was an exceptional waiter, who made our two girls feel so special, and took such great care of us. We all had an absolutely perfect evening and look forward to returning next time we’re in town. The tortellini was our favorite. We recommend asking your server what their favorite dishes are. Walter didn’t steer us wrong and the rest of the staff were on point and very attentive. The seating on the patio in the courtyard and inside is all beautiful. I don’t think that there’s a bad table in the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: This is a good option for older well-behaved children.

walking in was good u see all the lights and everything . Beautiful ambience. We got seated our table was stained . I got stepped on by waiters twice . Waiter had his back to my girlfriends face with his rear on her face while she ate . He was not aware how close he was to her . And our waiter toook my girlfriends plate when she wasn't done eating , while she was eating he took it. he did not ask if she was done. Good job on the water refills tho they are up to date with that. but our waiter Pino or Tino? i think he was rushed and felt like he was faking being nice .

Got seated an hour after our reservation time. My date was stuck sitting outside, freezing in her dress until our table is ready. We weren't seated in the main room where the ambience was nice. We were seated in the side room and doors which had lighting like a brothel. The whole vibe was completely ruined for Valentine's Day. Definitely not worth the money for that experience. Highly do not recommend.

Waited an hour after our reservation. We went to the bar to get a drink while we waited. We Waited the entire hour at the bar trying to get a drink and still didn't get to order our drink. The food was subpar. Paid $350 per person at this restaurant for a bad experience. Would never come back or recommend this place to anyone.

My waiter was nonexistent. Food came out cold sent it back. They warmed it up. We didn't eat it $650 for dinner $233 for drinks fix menu for Valentines sucked. I am a foodie. I knew quality food and I'm not afraid to spend money.

Overpriced, $250/person gets you 5 pieces of ravioli ,piece of steak with grilled veggies ,and some chocolate they call dessert. Wiggly makeshift table to seat more than they can. mediocre experience prepaid with lots of enforced tips.

Took my wife to the Valentine's dinner special... expected something amazing for the price. It wasn't anything like advertised or we imagined. Although the food was good, as it has been in the past, the service and ambience was below usual level and far (very far) from the level you'd expect for a $600 dinner. I had to ask the server to light our candle, to refill our water glasses, to fix our wobbly table... Tables were also very close to each other... we expected for the price, fewer would be seated and there'd be more room for one on one conversation on this romantic evening. It was set up and operated for volume and movement... and to top it off, we had to wait over 30 mins to get our car at the valet. Not just because of the line but because of the inefficient process. We've been to Il Cielo in the past and paid about $150 for a nice dinner and a couple drinks... with 2 drinks each and dinner, the bill was over $700 for service and a meal that was less than the standard $150 experience. We'll not go to one of their 'specials' again and we may not even go back after such disappointment. NOTE to restaurant management--if you take exceptional care of your guests, by watching them from afar and anticipating their needs then exceeding their expectations, you'll earn far more business than you can handle. Few restaurants in the area do this well. Valentine's Dinner Special at Il Cielo was a flop.

I decided to beat the VDay crowd and took my wife to Il Cielo one day early. The venue was romantic and our waiter was amazingly attentive and charming. I started off with the grilled octopus which was extremely tasty and grilled to perfection. The Cesar salad was excellent. I ordered the pappardelle w/ lobster and truffle sauce which was fantastic and finished the evening with the panna cotta (best ever!!!) To top it off, Mr Vericella himself visited our table and we had a great conversation about the history of the restaurant! Altogether it was one of the best dinners I have ever enjoyed in my 40 yrs in LA.

I would have given it five stars but only three of the five of us were served our entrees at the same time which I have a problem with especially when paying a lot of money. 5 minutes went by before the other two entres came. After complaining to our waiter, I found a manager and he apologized but did not offer anything to try and make it right. The majority of fine restaurants will always serve all entrees at the same time. I was really surprised that this happened at this restaurant.
