Modern ramen shop with a noodle lab boasting high-end bowls of slurpy goodness. The broth is layered in silky umami flavors. Noodles were cooked perfectly. Price point is a bit steep but that's to be expected.

Far from traditonal ramen but the depth of flavor was fantastic. $40 for a bowl is a bit absurd but the house made noodles and everything that came with it made it worth it. I'd be happy to eat here again.

Patrons beware!! Since receiving their status, they now charge $40-70+ for a bowl of ramen. I walked in and walked right out. It may be good or great, but I could never justify that price especially with evidence of the ramen being half the price just 3 years ago. Unfortunately it seems the sentiment is well understood among most patrons because the place was empty. I wish them the best.

Went in, sat down, ordered a ramen and a glass of ice water. The bill came out to $60 after tax and tip for a bowl of soup and an ice water. The ramen was delicious for sure, but $60? Come on, that’s obnoxious.

It’s a unique take on ramen, good depth of flavor, great noodles, but for me the truffle dominates and the richness of the soup is too buttery. Like it for something new, but I prefer a more traditional take. I like truffle and I have had a dozen bowls in Tokyo. I was expecting the price, but at the end of the night it felt too steep.

I get that this place has a Michelin star, but the prices are not worth it.Walking in we were quickly seated for lunch. The place is pretty casual and has signs displaying its previous Michelin awards. Service was good and you could see them prepping the noodles and soup right at the counter. We ordered the sake wings which were crispy but a bit dry/over cooked. The side carrot salad was perhaps my favorite part of the dish and was delightful. We ordered the cream based and signature. The signature soup was excellent. It was fragrant with truffle, salty and umami. I would say if you are salt sensitive then this isn't the dish for you. The chashu melted in my mouth and the noodles and wontons were great. The cream based soup was exceedingly average. I have made better tasting noodles than this at home. We got the thick noodles for this dish, which were falling apart and a lot fewer in quantity than the thin noodles. I would recommend the thin noodles. I would give this place a 4 based on just the food, but when considering the insane prices I would take away one star. $30 for a bowl of ramen, that isn't seriously the best ramen I have ever had, is way too much.We didn't finish our meals and our waitress kindly packaged them up and separated the noodles and soup which I greatly appreciated. There are quite a few ramen joints in LA and I feel like there are plenty of affordable options around the area that are just as good, if not better.

During my visit to Beverly Hills, this Michelin guide ramen restaurant was close to the Waldorf where I was staying. My daughter and I had a 8 PM dinner reservation. We arrived on time and were immediately greeted and seated. From our table, we could look at the on-site noodle factory where all the noodles for the restaurant are made fresh. My daughter ordered the vegan soba and I ordered their signature #1 dish. The first thing you must realize is everything is seasoned with truffle so if you're not a truffle fan, you will want to avoid this restaurant. If you are a truffle fan you are in for a treat since I've never had Ramen served with such unique and wonderful flavors. For instance, my dish had chopped chilies in it and if you made sure you had a chopped chili in your bite, the flavor just exploded in your mouth and it was absolutely delightful. For my daughter and my tastes, we enjoyed a one time visit, but probably would not come back. Even though the flavors were amazing in the dishes it's not the type that I would ever crave. Restaurant is also relatively expensive; expect to spend $35 per entrée. There's not a lot of parking available in the area and was glad we took the Hotels Bentley to the restaurant. If you're looking for a unique truffle seasoned Japanese Ramen dish, this is the place to give it a try.

Here's the thing: the Ramen is good but FAR from Michelin (Bib Gourmand) good. When you charge this outlandish prices in a city where competition is at every corner, you better be ready to back it up with some serious (flavor) feats, specially if its going to be overshadowed by truly outstanding appetizers. This bowl is in the same league as Tetsu, Kai, and the likes. The vegan option was also underwhelming, unnecessarily sugary , and just as ridiculously expensive. $130-$150 for 2 bowls of less than spectacular ramen, 2 appetizers and no drinks is a crime. Michelin Guide, take note.

Wifey and I are on a ramen kick in this cold, rainy weather, and we did a spur of the moment visit to Kazan. Used the Matsuhisa valet, $14. Got there early in the evening, about 6pm. Place is small and simple, but wow to the ramen with such mindblowing umami! We had the Signature #1 soy broth with chicken and shrimp gyoza - asked for extra greens and got it. The soba noodles were thin and perfect texture. Had some excellent green tea and a couple of glasses of Tokubetsu Junmai. Very kind and attentive service by two young ladies, one of whom spoke to wifey in Japanese. Since we found the ramen so exquisite, we will surely be back! I think it's the best I've ever had!

Came here because the Michelin Star caught my eye. I usually like to go of my local Daikokuya Ramen shop but I'd thought I'd give this a try.We came Sunday and arrived around 12pm (right when they opened) and thankfully we found street parking as soon as we arrived. We were the only ones in the restaurant for about 30 minutes, then the locals started to trickle in.They have both Indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating had a cute picnic vibe to it. But we decided to sit at the bar area.We ordered the Lei Ramen and Kaiten Ramen. If you love spicy foods, I would suggest going with the Lei Ramen it was delicious! The Kaiten Ramen was creamy and good for non spicy eaters. We paired it with some smooth Sapporo, a suggestion from the waiter who said it would go great with our meal. The portion size was large and was about $36+ per bowl.Definitely a savory meal and is on my top 3 ramen spots!

After reading reviews, Michelin Recommend from 2021-2023, and many different trophies. I was expected this place to be a 5 start ramen shop. However, it’s disappointed. For a bowl of ramen $38 plus tax and tips, I would expect it to be nearly perfect. Chicken wings are dry not juicy. Only one server runs the entire restaurant so there is no service at all to check if the food is ok or anything else needs to be attentive. No water refill, no one came to our table to check on us. Only one staff works in the kitchen and one staff works in the back of the kitchen. After waiting for 20 mins to get our chicken wings and another 15 mins to get three bowls of ramen. The noodle texture is lack of Gluteniness of noodles. It doesn’t taste as good as it should be as home made noodles. The only broth tastes the best it’s the creamy broth. Salt and soy broth are both little too salty. Chicken thigh it’s full of sake taste and I can’t taste any chicken flavor from it. The texture of the chicken also not juice at all. Honestly, a place like this should have a lot better quality of food and service to present.

Overate ramen! Too much truffle oil and it breaks all the taste. You can name that “innovation” but for a person who eat ramen all over the world like me, it’s really “overdose”. Lamb ramen, it’s a joke with this price! I really don’t mind to pay $70/bowl of ramen, if it’s good! But not in this case! Taste-it first pls! Bright side: they have a very good serveur, he is very kind, attentive and charming. That’s why even can not finish any bowl of ramen, still appreciate him with a good tip, cause it’s not his fault at all.
