Don’t recommend ordering from here. Delayed an hour and my courier told me there were multiple other delivery drivers waiting. Once it finally arrived I did not think the sushi was fresh. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

I used to love this place and grabbing takeout. However, they’ve stopped picking up their phones for orders and I’ve had to resort to Postmates. Order postmates with a 25-35 minute wait to pick up, which then jumps to 1 hr 30 min. Ok fine maybe they had a sudden spike. Get to the restaurant when I’m told to and I’m not even acknowledged. Finally, the front desk tells us it’ll be another 30 minutes. After waiting 40 minutes, we finally ask the waitress what’s going on and she tells us she can’t tell us when the food will be ready and we should just tell Postmates to cancel - even though they’ve marked the order as completed on their end.I understand these apps aren’t great for restaurants, but if are not working out, then take your restaurant off the apps and pick up the phone for take out orders like in the past. This was order #9B30E on Postmates.

What a badddddd BADDDDDd place to do Take Out orders!!!!!! Don’t do it!!!!!!Original order was 35min- they increased the timeline to wait 1 hour. No problem, I went to pick up and the person in charge said will be another 25min?????? After waiting 45minutessss inside the restaurant, this lady in charge said “Just cancel your order because the chefs are not going to be able to make your food” so irresponsible and waste of my time.Simple- If you don’t have enough employees to do your job don’t accept orders.Order #9B30E

We ordered food to go. When we showed up they marked it as complete but never brought us the food. After 30 mins they said "call postmates and cancel it" while they had sushi coming out for everyone else in the restaurant. There was like 8 ppl waiting for food to go and they didn't make it for any of us.I mean come on. If you're not going to make food why are you a restaurant?

We had the sparkling sake, the tasting menu, mochi for dessert, and everything was great! The service and ambiance were also great, food came out quick and they had great music! Came out to $250 for 2 people before tip.

Placed an order thru DoorDash and arrived to a very busy NYE crowd. Was informed that my order would take longer than expected to be prepared. Joe assured me that he would do whatever he could to expedite my order and politely apologized for the inconvenience. He even took down my number so that he could text me the minute it was ready. Later, when I arrived to pick it up, it was packaged to perfection! Joe had even included a little extra treat as a thank you for being so patient. Thanks Joe for saving my family’s NYE dinner and making it so special!

I was fortunate to eat here, it was recommended by a friend. The food at Seabutter is amazing . I will come back over and over again for the food and service.

Upon walking in, I noticed it was very busy during dinner hours. There is plenty of seating heading towards the back of the restaurant, but I had made a reservation ahead of time through their Yelp page, so my boyfriend and I were seated at the sushi bar. The restaurant seemed casual and was lightly decorated. The sushi chef taking our order was very kind, and our waitress was also very friendly and checked in on us often. We ordered a bottle of Sapporo and three rolls. I cannot remember the names of the rolls, but my goodness they were extremely delicious. The prices seemed reasonable too, which surprised me. I was expecting ridiculously high prices for sushi in Beverly Hills. Overall, I'm so happy to have found a nice sushi restaurant with good prices and amazing food and service, and will definitely be coming back.

Some of the best sushi I've had in LA. I've been to so many places and this one is exceptional. They are friendly and their food / atmosphere is perfect. They also do dore dash orders and the food was packed with care and with a sweet note! Highly recommend!

Quality fish! My entire party was really impressed by the yellowtail sashimi. We came for dineLA lunch and left feeling satisfied. However, the quantity and quality definitely did not warrant for its price. We also felt very rushed with our meal, due to the server constantly hovering and asking to clear plates when we weren't quite done with our course. We all agreed there are places with easily better service, ambience and sushi for a similar price range. Probably wouldn't return due to that.

Not sure about 4.5 stars for this place. Went for lunch. Good service and nice people but overall the food was very average and felt overpriced even for Beverly Hills. Agedashi tofu appetizer was 5 small pieces of fried tofu and $8. Miso soup was broth and two tiny pieces of tofu and some scallion for $4. Specialty rolls averaged $20 and were very average.

Ordered take out, so I can’t speak to the atmosphere, but everything was perfectly packaged and delicious!
