Have not been to Yu/Mi since they left their old location across the street and I am beyond happy to see (and taste) they have not skipped a beat. Everything ordered was fresh and delicious. The casual ambiance and friendly service was also great. The uni was especially tasty!

Uhhh no. The old location was ok but this is no good. Really mayo filled weird sushi. Not great at all. Expensive for what it is. Ambiance is awkward and kinda dead. Not going back

Best sushi in LA. Very good service. Midori is super attentive and very dedicated to making sure customers have everything they need. Very consistent food with high quality ingredients. Chef ted’s spicy tuna #2 is a must try for everyone. The salmon nigiri with yuzu pepper is to die for. I order from here at least twice a week and it’s always fresh. After 12 years of coming here, it’s still my favorite sushi spot in the city.

Service is horrible... doesn't give napkins to ppl outside and when you come in to grab the lady with the mask looks at you like what the heck.. been here a couple times and it's always uncomfortable... let's not talk about the prices ... $25 for a nigori? Sugarfish charges $10 that's almost 3x's the amount it should be ... run far from my this place

Doesn't look like much when you walk by, but they have a full list of sushi and entrées available. We had a reservation so we were seated right on time. They weren't very busy as nearly half the tables were open, however our service wasn't as prompt as I would have expected. We wanted to order more sushi for the table, however our server did not come back by with enough time given our limited time between meetings (we did allow 1.5 hours for lunch). The sushi was good, no complaints, but also wasn't the freshest I've had. The sauces applied were very heavy and would have preferred less.

I was seated by the waiter and wasn't brought a menu or a glass of water for 30 minutes. Horrible service!

One of the best sushi spots in LA. So so good. And staff was amazing :). Highly recommend going here.

Extremely rude and arrogant service. kid server was rude to my elderly mother. When I asked for a manager, no one could give me a straight answer, strange. Finally, someone pointed to one of the guys making sushi. When I told him what happened, he made some face of disapproval but didn't do much and continued cutting sushi. The whole place is ran strangely and unprofessionally. We Will never be back

Unfair, they charged me $3 extra per roll because I said no avocado! Over priced !!!!

This place is such a gem. No frills deliciousness. The Lauren roll, treasure roll, and pretty much anything else is a religious experience. The wait staff and sushi chefs were lovely. Can't recommend enough. If you go in person, they have a long list of weekly / seasonal specials which will blow your mind too.
