I had the most delightful experience at Bowling Barn and I am eager to share my positive review. In the span of an hour, we indulged in two exciting games of bowling for only $48, excluding the shoe rental. The experience was undeniably worth every penny. The venue - impressive array of LED lights, making it one of the most technologically advanced bowling alleys I have ever encountered. Never did I imagine myself traveling to Big Bear for a game of bowling, but the Bowling Barn has completely changed my perspective. The vibrant atmosphere of the place has me yearning to return to Big Bear.It is the perfect activity to engage in during a day spent at a cozy cabin, offering a warm and entertaining outing. My daughter had a blast, and we enjoyed the cool laser lights and various LED displays that added a visual spectacle to our bowling experience. The sound system was of exceptional quality, adding to the overall enjoyment of the games.Apart from the top-notch facilities, the staff were incredibly helpful and the venue was impeccably clean. I was particularly impressed by the feature that allowed my daughter to use the adjustable wall while bowling. In a traditional alley, I would have had to rely on those walls constantly, but at Bowling Barn, all it took was a simple request for the staff to adjust it according to our needs. This level of personalized service truly set the experience apart.

Horrible experience, wait times were too long, food took over 40 minutes, on top of that my boyfriend had a medical emergency and none of the staff was willing to help and call paramedics, on the contrary one of the bar staff came over and proceeded to tell us we had to leave, it may have seemed to them that he was drunk but he only had one beer, instead of asking or actually taking the time to see what was actually happening they treated us as if we were drunk. Only positive note was the young teen that took our food order, she was super friendly and answered all our questions we had about the menu. Think twice before going.

Fun place for the kiddos. Good selection of food and drinks. We just wish the staff were more informative and friendly.

food and drinks are ok. the bartender was really nice and we made pleasant conversation with him. that was the highlight of the experience. The customer service for the actual bowling part was some of the worst i've seen. I know big bear isn't known for its world class customer service, because lets be real, in most places it isn't great, but this was awful. The host was pretty rude, ignoring us as we walked up to the counter, nervously, i was trying to ask how long the wait was for a party of five bowlers (we are a group of 7, it's important to the story,) as i was trying to form a sentence he's making faces almost looking disgusted at me and trying to rush me. he noticed that there is more than five of us, and before even telling me the pricing or wait was immediately like the rest of your party cannot be with you only the bowlers can sit at the bench. It's a pretty ridiculous policy, considering how large their benches are, and my group was able to sit comfortably. one of the non-bowlers decided to purchase some fries for her self and a soda for me, and one of the men who was there at the time of the transaction, stopped her from coming back down to where we were sitting telling her she was not allowed down there. It's pretty ridiculous to be told that when you see other groups having people who are not bowling also sitting with them. If this is a policy you have it should be enforced. we felt like we were being discriminated against from the moment we walked in as we were a group of minorities in a predominantly white neighborhood, it just kind of sucks when you were expecting to have a ton of fun. 0/10 stars and not a good way to end our trip.

My friends and I had a weekend getaway in Big Bear and we decided to stop by here after lunch. It was busy on a Saturday afternoon and were told it would be an hour wait for a lane, but we decided to put our name on the list and kill time at the bar. The bar had some seltzers, beers, and rail drinks available for purchase and the bartender was very kind. We waited patiently for our group to be called and bowled for an hour. WE HAD A BLAST. This place is clearly the place to be on a Saturday evening and we had so much fun. We should have stayed TWO hours. We kept ordering drinks, snacks, and bowled to our hearts content. Mind you, we are not bowlers in any way. The ambiance was just so fun with good music, drinks, and food. Cost was very reasonable for everything and we are already planning to come back next year for another annual getaway

Showed up around 6pm and was told from employees that I was not able to get on a waiting list until 8pm because a tournament was going on, before heading to the establishment there was no information online about that and when employees were asked about that rule they just claimed that was a rule from the owner and had nothing to back it up, customer service was horrible and would not recommend

Fun, family-friendly activity. We tried the Hyper Bowling experience, which reminded me of TopGolf, but for bowling. It was really fun, I would definitely recommend it. After a certain time, I think 12pm/4pm depending on the day, they do Glow Bowling where they turn down the house lights, turn on the colored lights and play good music videos. But don't worry guys... there are still plenty of TV screens showing the various sports games. Price for 1 hour of bowling and 2 adult shoe rentals came out to about $56.They also have a decent food/snack stand inside and a full bar with pool tables in the back area. We had to wait about an hour for a lane, so we ordered some cocktails and just hung out in the bar and enjoyed the music. Will definitely be back during our next visit to Big Bear Lake.

Great bowling alley with arcade games and a decent bar! Just be prepared to pay around $60 an hour for a lane and shoes for up to 5 people. A little pricey but worth it in my opinion!

We went bowling on a wesdnay night. For one hour of bowling, it was $48.00. I thought that was a bit expensive, especially during the week. Although the bowling alley was quite nice. The staff were friendly and were willing to help. The restrooms are kept up well. Overall, it was a nice place to visit but I have to take off a star for the price.

This place is dope for a small mountain town after dark. The kids loved the atmosphere and the vibe. Super chill. The food is okay - not spectacular but not bad.

One of the best bowling alleys we’ve been to! The staff was great, lanes were awesome and the arcade was fun for the kids. Read bad things about the food, so we didn’t order any. Drinks were fine :). Make sure to go at night to take advantage of the Glow Bowl.
