Blanca is so so sweet and kind. Her pies are amazing. We tried the apple, boysenberry and peach. The peach was to die for!

Very nice restaurant, and super kind employees! My boyfriend and I went here when leaving town in a big rush on a holiday weekend, and the customer service was great; We got our food quickly to go, and it was delicious. I even accidentally left my wallet at the restaurant and one of the employees was kind enough to mail it back to my house. Overall, this restaurant had a nice warming atmosphere, and many diverse food options for everyone. I highly recommend it for a casual restaurant, for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Cute little diner, near Boulder Bay, and the biscuits and gravy were INCREDIBLE. The pie looked really good, but I didn't try it. They were shortstaffed, but the staff was very friendly and wonderful!

waitress was super nice when me and my friends went, food was surprisingly good and wasn't too expensive. Nice little family owned restaurant

A nice little find up on our way to Big Bear Lake. A simple family owned restaurant with very tasty pies. Lunch was simple. Chicken sandwiches were tasty and moist. The fries came to the table cold. After calling it to our waitress, she brought hot ones soon after. Great service. The pies are made in house by the grandmother. Hope she passes down the recipes. I wish they didn't microwave my piece of blueberry pie. It made the crust tough. But fresh fruit as the fillings. And the scoop of ice cream was generous. Support this local business.

My go-to breakfast spot whenever I am in town for the past 4 years. The boysenberry topping on the French toast is such a great, unique addition! I find myself craving it when not in BB. I also highly recommend trying their desserts (I'm not sure what they're called, but I especially like the peanut butter/chocolate balls) Extremely reasonable pricing and very fast to come out of the kitchen. Personally, I have only ever had take-out here, but the dining room is cozy and old-fashioned.

(Monday 11Am)At first glance this place is small and hidden between other businesses. However I highly recommend to stop and check this place out! This place has indoor dining as well as outdoors. Pets are welcomed as long as they are well behaved. I stoped by with a party of 15 people. Let me just say our waitress, Daniela, was amazing and sweet! She checked up on us frequently and was patient with us. I wasn't that hungry so I only got a short stack, two buttermilk pancakes. These hands down are top tier. Very fluffy on the inside and the outer edges had a nice crunch toasty ness to them. They had some powder sugar on top.I can't really speak on the taste of the other foods but they all looked good.Service 10/10Ambiance 8/10Location 8/10Cleanliness 10/10Location 7/10Overall 8.7/10Almost forgot to mention for a party of 15 people wait time was not bad at all! Seated right away and only waited maybe 12/15 minutes for our food! I am no local here but in my next trip I am definitely stopping by again! **Everyone will have their own experiences but Always remember to be kind, it goes a long way! **

We ate at this restaurant 4 mornings in a row. The first time (Tuesday, 9/5/2023) was a huge disappointment. The food was below average and the service wasn't that good. However, the rest of the days (Wed 9/6 - Friday 9/8/2023), the food was great and the service was excellent! We had the same waitress from Wed-Friday (different waitress on 1st experience). I'm glad we gave it another chance (we wouldn't have, but the restaurant we wanted to try was closed on Wed), as our review would be much different otherwise. The 2nd waitress was personable, always filling up your coffee, etc. We will definitely come back here the next time we're visiting the area!

Small, quirkly, family-run restaurant that's been around for decades. We found the service to be very good and the young waitresses were cheery. The food was good---not excellent perhaps, but good in a homey way and we would definitely return. We really enjoyed the pies.

This mountain community restaurant is one of a kind. When you visit, Blanca herself will wait on you along with her family who own the business. They serve good food, very friendly and the service is outstanding. We walked there when we stayed at the condos next door, and I have to admit, at first we were a bit nervous because it looks like a hole in the wall from outside. Once in, good seating inside and on the back patio. You won't regret the food!

Hidden gem right here! The best breakfast in town. And the desserts are to die for. I got a dozen Mexican wedding cakes to go. Probably the best I've ever had. For our meal I got eggs Benedict and my husband got polish sausage and eggs. Good serving size. Can't wait to go back

Official go to stop on our way out of town. The eggs Benedict was perfect and the mimosas were huge!

This place is surprisingly good-- especially the homemade pies. Minus one star for the coffee which is very not good. Beef sandwich was great especially the dip. Strawberry rhubarb pie was a winner.Staff are very friendly.

Pigs n a blanket, and the wife had an omelet. Best pancakes and sausage ever!!! Omg I want to try the blueberry pancakes next time. Also, cover the pigs in a blanket with a side of gravy and a little syrup. Sasquatch Style
