Today we got an order of roll tacos, expensive and just bad. We got carne asada burrito and again not good. The meat is low quality and they are not even chopped the meat good. People stop eating here, is the only way the owners will do something about it. I don't recommend this place.

I just spoke with the owner. I stood there for over 30 minutes while others who weren’t standing in front of me received orders. Many have been disappointed the condiments are empty most of the time. I told him he needs to prioritize those who keep him afloat during the hard times in the community especially 2020, over fat & lazy couch potato’s calling in for a monkey to retrieve. This isn’t a drive thru. Service those in front of your face / counter. He had no reply. * public in general are tired of this !

The food was BLAND. NO SEASONINGS OR SALT. And this restaurant sells Mexican food but uses sharp cheddar instead of cotija cheese. Honestly I didn’t enjoy the food I got (rolled chicken tacos) it was so bland and had the wrong cheese.

It's not asking a lot to take an order at the counter and get it right, after several times it's kind of pattern. Maybe it's just this location

My favorite burrito in all the world: Cali-Surfing at Cotijas in Bonita. Three pounds of awesomeness that never disappoints. It's more than just a meal to me. It's a culmination of three years of fond memories from when I lived here a decade ago and culinary perfection. When a meal can be that combination of fantastic tastes combined with pleasant nostalgia from an earlier season of life, one should take every opportunity to experience it.

I have been to multiple Cotija's in all of Southern California, and they are always disappointing, BUT this one in bonita are on point, especially their potato tacos.Two thumbs up and a 10 star review!!!!

The menudo was not good at all, no hominy, the tripe was too tough like if they had not cooked it long enough. The onions and cilantro were old and the flower tortillas were heated too long and they were inedible. The staff was engaged in conversation that had nothing to do with the business. There are so many taco shops in this area and this is one I will not come back to.

We are Bonita locals and wanted Mexican food so we thought about this place we arrive to get our order the lady with Tattoos Gave horrible customer service I mentioned my To go food had no napkins and she opened my bag from my hands to make sure I wasn’t lying , never said hello nor thank you we asked for a beverage she said you can get it yourself, her demeanor was not customer friendly I hope this review is taken seriously so that we locals don’t deal with poor customer service.
