My wife and I decided to try Cortez Mexican Food...we've passed by it numerous times over the years going to and from Oceanside. It's small and very informal. We ordered the California Burrito, Taquitos with guacamole & shredded cheese and tacos Al pastor. The service was fast and made fresh to order. If you're in the area or just passing by, please consider trying Cortez Mexican Food...I promise you won't be disappointed. On a side note: The tacos are not your typical street style tacos...they're much larger and very filling.

Cortez Mexican Food is our favorite spot to go for burritos and rolled tacos. Their potato egg and cheese burrito is the best I've had in years. Quality and service is also consistent and top notch. Highly recommend trying them out, we'll be back without a doubt.
