Best dive bar ever. This is the only bar in Bonsall so it is always filled with locals, usually between ages 35-70. This used to be a stopping spot for traveling bikers so there is still often bikers that come in. The drinks are strong and decent priced. There is a happy hour special. You can also drink and smoke cigarettes on a small patio, if needed. They used to allow dogs but lately, only service animals.

New to the San Diego area from the Bay Area. I love checking out new places, meeting new people, and finding hole in the wall dives bars (my guilty pleasure) - I checked out this establishment a few times. Initially it seemed pretty cool, a mix of older/younger alike. However, one of the bartenders is less than welcoming and unprofessional -- Melly. She began gossiping to the other bartender who was off the clock - this happened as soon as I stepped foot in the door. Talk about making customers uncomfortable. I wouldn't recommend going here alone, as a woman. Some of the men are a bit strange and not very nice. It can feel very uncomfortable and unsafe which seems to be tolerated by staff. I was asked to leave I assume when I spoke up against the disrespect and harassment. Once I was asked to leave, I was determined to not let the weird vibes ruin my night. I visited the newest establishment that just opened up within the same parking lot and wowwwww! Such a better experience, everyone was chill, nice and respectful. I had laughs, good beer, better company. Andddddd they allowed me to step in as the DJ (THE REAL MVPS) I had a great time. As I was leaving the plaza's parking lot...I notice Melly began chasing towards my car, she was waving her hands/arms. Her behavior was extremely concerning and erratic. For some strange reason she was trying to take photos of me, my car, my license plate. It was truly a VERY STRANGE experience. Like I said... be warned. I wouldn't go alone...Unless of course, you're a really tough cookie! Then more power to you. If you go you definitely have to be a strong woman - now, not everything was awful and that my friends... is the beauty of life, INNIT?! There was an awesome bartender I had the pleasure of chatting with once. Her energy was top tier, she was freaking hilarious and she's stunning! I don't recall her name but "it's the lady from weeds!" Shout out to her for being a nice human. Her husband was very cool too! It was lovely meeting them both! Also shout out to the other bartender, Nick. He was super chill and cool to talk to from my first visit there. I got to talk TRUCKS. My favorite. So 3 very cool people. Thank you guys man. Anyway, humor is also something I think k is beautiful in life so I've officially coined this bar.........The Last Resort Bar" (which is obviously in hell) - Alexa please cue "not all who wander are lost" and "I'm a little more stray dogggg!!!" - going to keep shining my light and finding my people. The bartenders acted like they were doing me a favor instead of appreciated me as customer.The band Undercover was amazing. I would come back just hear them again. Also there is a pooltabkewhich made it fun.

Haven't been here in 30 years. While home on a visit we ran up to Pala. On the way back I had to stop in and see if the place had changed. They had a great band playing. Service was a little slow but the people were all friendly. It was a Friday night and the place was full. Loved that they were celebrating 40 years. I used to come here for Karaoke back in the 90's. When I go back home and am in the area, I will stop in again. Thanks for the memories. Visit was 7-28-23

Cool local bar with live music, pool, lots of cool people, and good vibes! I came here in a Friday with a gal pal just looking for a good time and maybe a cute guy. We were greeted promptly and served ice cold beverages. Actually I had red wine and my friend had white wine. A cute guy actually bought me my second drink and I had an ice cold seltzer, lol. The cute guy was enjoying beer. This is a known locals place but it seemed that all were welcome and welcome to dance or play pool or just enjoy the ambiance. There's a Mexican taco shop next door for food and a 7/11 next door if you need gas. There was plenty of parking and the restrooms were clean

Ringer's is a super cool, local hang out that's welcoming to everyone! We moved to Bonsall a few years ago and this is like the local Cheers. 2 pool tables, live music, Karaoke.. Foods fine, Beer choices are awesome, team is great. If your local or passing through - check it
7-15-23 visit. We were there for a birthday bash. There were about 50-60 of us. We spent a lot of money and fed every patron in the bar, as Filipinos always do. The problem was the bar was under staffed and the one bartender, that couldn’t manage a smile or hello, wasn’t paying attention to the “money side” of the establishment. Every time one of us wanted to order we had to stand there and wait while the bartender was busy chatting with the 4 or 5, probably regulars or boyfriends, that occupied the entire other side of the bar. Obviously the bartender has never been a business owner.
