Surprisingly REALLY good! We've been thru many small towns and had some disappointing experiences so this was a treat! This place is family owned and run (and they are super nice) and clean as a whistle! Food is homemade, with love. If your cruisin the 395 this hidden gem is worth the few minutes drive off the main road. And if you like old run down but quaint towns of yesterday this is a win. Next stop on our adventure? Burro Schmidt's Mine... the tunnel to nowhere.

Lola took my heart! This grand mother type lady is the kindest soul and most amazing chef you will meet. My friend and I were driving from Vegas to SF and cqme across this high rating diner from Google. Best decision

Food was amazing I had the tuna sandwich with fries. The fries were amazing and the tuna was out of this world I highly recommend this place

The cook/owners absolutely wonderful!! The food is so good!! We had tilapia and hush puppies. The hush puppies were light fluffy and had just the right amount of seasoning, a touch to much onion for my personal preference, however it was wonderful. My son had the tilapia and all he could say was "mmmm ummhumm so good"So yeah the best as usual.

SO GOOD! A proper cute little dinner with great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, and INCREDIBLE food made from scratch! This place made me happy. The owner (who cooked our food!) came out and chatted with us too, she's a wonderful person.

Stopped in Boron for research for my travel column, Beyer's Byways, and thought a bit of lunch was in order. Lola's looked enticing and we were thrilled with the service and the food. The owner, Patricia was a very gracious hostess and offered us some special salsa to go with our street tacos. Great experience, and will go back to try the famous Tri-tip the restaurant offers.

Super cute diner with quality home cooked food. I ordered the chicken soup and it was obvious that it was home made; chunks of flavorful chicken, carrots, potato celery etc. Husband got the nachos and kids ordered the club sandwich and onion rings. All the portions were perfect and service was great. Cute little find right across from two museums so perfect little stop for a family.

I'd eat here at least once a week if it wasn't so far of a drive. Thanks for the hospitality and amazing food.

Awesome food. Just like home cooking, but no dishes to wash. Everything is from scratch. The lasagna Is the bomb, Pot roast is melt in your mouth & the BBQ ribs are amazing. I haven’t had anything that wasn’t good. The service is great always a cheerful hi & a smile. It’s really best meal in town just like mama use to make. ♥️♥️
