Original, streamline art deco Foster's Freeze building from the late 1940's in Old Town Brawley is very close to the Bandstand Gazebo in the middle of a green lawn. So very Middle Western!!! The only other old school Foster's that I know of is in Old Town Torrance, California, and it's in worse shape. Too tempting to pass up even at 10:30am. Best old-school restaurant... Ice cream, milkshakes, cheese fries...Try chocolate chip shake... Ask to pupin ice cream in first , so all the chocolate be be on the bottom and less chips in you shake!... My favorite ice cream/ shake ?...
