One star because I can't leave it a zero stars. Haven't been there in person in a long time, but would order food for pick up or delivery when I was at work. Decided to go there and grab a quick lunch, my hubby and I, on a rare day that we were both off of work. It looked like it was closed, but I asked if they were still open. Yep. Okay, so we're looking at the menu and the person there, assuming it was the owner, mentioned there were things on the menu they didn't have anymore. I said, Oh okay. But he didn't offer anything else. Seemed like there was one person cooking. He was standing with the other gentleman while we were reading the menu then he went back to the kitchen. My husband and I decided what we wanted and stood at the cash register and the person who I am assuming is the owner, walked to the back. We were left standing there. So apparently our business was not needed, nor appreciated. We walked out and had a nice lunch somewhere else, where our business was appreciated and we were treated nicer.

I’m always looking for good local cooking. I manage a rural restaurant and bar with amazing fresh food and homemade dinner specials nightly (Johnson’s landing cafe and bar Salton city ca) and this is now my place now in town. Daily specials like they’r their tri tip and chicken plate for $12 omg. Can’t be beat. Burritos so fresh perfectly rolled easy to eat and just delightful. Great tortillas and good carne. Have great respect that they support or supported the local schools till the end of the restaurant business as we know now. Thank Covid. Please frequent this establishment they are a family business, easy to miss on the Google maps but look for the little sign in front on K st. Let’s keep our family of local food stops alive. Respect the fact that they work. Don’t collect unemployment and keep there doors open and still put out amazing food and way too low prices as far as I’m concerned. A must go place and even take out was amazing after it sat for an hour in my car.

The steak dinner is superb! Can hardly wait to eat there again.
Love their food and the people who work here. Wish they were cleaner though. The tables need to have the condiments bottles cleaned and they need to get rid of all the boxes in the main dining area. It's often cluttered and messy. Maybe they need a storage container. Perfect place for take out! Their double cheese burger is the best. Their cheese fries are the good crinkle ones. These people really give back to the community, helping with all types of fundraisers and sports clubs. They have the right mindset for a small community like Brawley
