If I could leave a 0 star I would!!! Called in food they said 5-10min. I live 10min away so got in my car right away. Walked in and a couple ahead of me ordered and paid. A girl ( i didnt get her name she had a stank ass look on her face like she is miserable) walks were two to go orders are sitting and hands the couple who just ordered my food that I just for laid for. They young guy told her it wasnt for them and still processed to give them my food! She looked so confused by what he was saying. She got told twice that was mine and the guy said it will be just a couple minutes and I have to wait for my food to be made yet again. If i wanted to wait I would of walked in and ordered it right there!

I love this place, there used to be this really sweet lady that used to work here. I wish she still did she was the sweetest, everyone there is nice though. Love Hawaiian BBQ reminds me of where I'm from Honolulu my home in my heart forever! Aloha to everyone enjoy their delicious food. I really like the BBQ plate it's really good, so is the chicken katsu. Share kindness to everyone, I promise it will make your day not just theirs. :) May you all have a beautiful day!

Rajun Cajun's review from April/May of 2023 is dead-on accurate. We must have had an experience with the same employee. She was short, Hispanic, and had a horrific attitude. We walked in and tried to ask a question about some menu items prior to ordering. The attitude the cashier had was unbelievable. We'd just seen her be extremely friendly to a Hispanic couple who'd placed an order, and we saw her be rude to a middle-aged Asian guy who came in while we were walking out. Can't help but think that L&L has/had a racist employee on their hands. If this lady is still working there, L&L, you need to fire her ASAP. She is costing you business and poisoning potential customers against going to other L&L locations, not just the Brea one.

Solid Hawaiian food place to get my spam masubi fix and Hawaiian plate with mac salad. It's quick and has indoor seating.

The cocksuit chicken is delicious but one of the reasons I come here is because the macaroni salad is also good. The main problem I have is that the macaroni salad is supposed to be vegetarian and for some reason this Location puts tuna in it and it makes it taste very fishy.

Love the food here.... been going here since 2015... Carmen is super sweet and kind. My most favorite are chicken katsu, the musubi, BBQ chicken.

The employees were very nice but it was a complete waste of money buying food from this particular L&L location. We spent $36 on food and probably ate $10 worth because it was that bad. I got the lumpia’s which were the size of mini corn dogs and a they were not crunchy. In their photo located on their store front the lumpia’s look like long taquitos but are actually like an inch and a half in size. Then we ordered spam masubis , the spam was cut extremely thin and one piece of spam was a light grayish color and they put way too much rice. Lastly we got the chicken Katsu and it was more breading than chicken. The meat on the chicken Katsu was so thin and the sauce that comes with it tasted alittle off. We’ve had plenty of L&L Hawaiian BBQ so it’s sad that this particular location was such a disappointment. I wish the food was as great as the staff’s hospitality. But if I could give 0 stars on the food I would.

I haven't always had the best customer service experiences with L&L, but I usually opt here when I'm craving Hawaiian food and need someplace nearby. I called in for take out and ordered a "Chicken Combo (half BBQ chicken, half chicken katsu) Plate" ($17.35) and a "Kalua Pork with Cabbage Plate" ($16.99). This time, service was friendly and my food was ready quickly within 10 minutes. Each plate came with 2 scoops of rice and 1 scoop of mac salad. All the meats were flavorful and good, and I especially liked how the katsu stayed really crispy even after a 15 minute drive. The only drawback was the stiff price for the portion size you get. I usually get full from most other Hawaiian BBQ places, but I left still feeling hungry after my meal at L&L.

Portions are decent. Stingy on the sauce , they charge for extra. Not a ton of seating inside but plenty of parking
