We went to the country music street festival on sunday may 15,2022 and found this cute bakery i got 2 cupcakes -the birthday one and the cheesecake one BUT they were so so dry and tasted old! I tried to eat them as soon as i bought them and i was very disapointed :( The macaroons were ok.

Situated and are here when I was hungry, it was great Merely Sweets bakery offers a variety of sweets & treats for everyone. I've been to Merely Sweets at least a a handful of times and ordered twice recently during COVID-19. Called in to place my dozen macaron order, emailed and invoice to pay online, called when I was parked outside the store for curbside pick up - quick, easy and extremely convenient! Macarons are sold individually at $2.15 each or $23 for the dozen. Each bakery item also comes in a cute little packaging! Sweet all around.

I just left this delicious sweet treat place and the 2 young girls that were there were very unhappy to see customers walking in at 8pm on a Friday. Not 1 smile at all, like they hated working, but I was not ordering 500 cupcakes just a few here and there. Anyways, as far as their sweet treats they are top notch!!! They taste so delicious!!! You will not regret it. Enjoy! Their banana pudding is light with a great taste. :)

haven't been here in a minute but wow, much has changed since my last visit (maybe 8 years ago?) I remember back then, the flavors were very subtle--this kinda tasted like that and that kinda tasted like this. There didn't seem to be too much of a distinction between the flavors. But having tried the ones today, I'm surprised that the flavors really stood out. I got animal cookie, green tea, and salted caramel. The animal cookie and green tea tasted exactly as so! Pricewise, pretty typical of macarons - all three cost under 8 dollars. And, there seemed to be more variety in the cupcake selection too! All in all, merely sweets is not merely sweet but got flavor and variety too! :)

I love this place!! I always stop by whenever I'm in the area to pick up some macarons, they are by far my favorite! I love the texture of the cookie and the fillings they choose since they are not all made of creme which makes them a lot more tasty in my opinion. The staff is always so friendly and the quality is always consistent, definitely given them a try if you're in the area! Also love they're choux creme pastries and the cupcakes are moist and not to sweet!

I had no idea a cupcake could taste so good. I've never been to a cupcake shop before, but decided to give it a try. I wanted a little sweet after dinner, and I wanted to help a local small business. I purchased the Nutella cupcake. OMG! It was delicious! So moist. Not too sweet. Perfect. I'll definitely be going back again.

I've been coming to this cake shop for years after eating next door at Bruno's. The Merry Berry cake has been and seems like it always will be my absolute favourite cake. Literally the only way I can explain how this cake tastes is it tastes like wonderful dreams or the feeling of being with the person you love.

I had been coming to Merely Sweets for years for macarons, banana pudding, and cakes. I had always left satisfied. I don't know what happened in recent years, but we ordered a big cake for my sister's birthday and we were so excited about it. It was absolutely terrible. The cake was stale/dry yet extremely wet and soggy at the same time. It was sagging and falling apart as we cut into it. We couldn't get a single intact slice out of the cake. It was so sweet I wondered if they accidentally put too much sugar in it. It was so embarrassing to present this to my sister and our family. Even the very polite birthday girl couldn't finish her slice. I couldn't believe this came from Merely Sweets. Never again. Things have really gone downhill here. A grocery store cake would have tasted better. I'm willing to pay higher prices for a delicious cake but I feel swindled. Please don't waste your money on this.
