If you know you know. Definitely if you need your fix, this Brea location is pretty good. Not as amazing as the one in Costa Mesa, but will most certainly be yummy!

This is the newest location of the famous Santouka ramen chain and is every bit as good as the other locations I've been to! I highly recommend the "shio" (salt) ramen - the broth is really smooth, pure and has a delightful hint of milkiness to it. The noodles are cooked perfectly al dente and all of their ramens are well-balanced with just the right amount of ingredients. Sadly, I just found out today that this location is now permanently closed, due to COVID, ugh! I will surely miss you, Santouka - you were way too short-lived in North OC. Hope you'll be back again someday because this was seriously the best location with the shortest lines, the most seating and the same great quality & taste as the one in Costa Mesa. I am truly heartbroken!

This is my favorite places to eat! I got a small bowl of noodles with miso and it's the best! I can't wait for the mall to open back!

I have always been a fan of Santouka. I usually go to the one in the Misuwa market around Costa Mesa. This one is slightly different but the ramen remains the same. Good flavorful broth and just chewy enough noodles. I'm this tough times they are open and they are doing their best to be functioning during the pandemic. The restaurant is clean and the food is delicious. Go and treat yourself with some ramen!

Very very very good had too come back. We chose the miso and shio ramen. Recommend very clean and very friendly.

Finally! We can now get it to go and eat it at comfort of our home. Granted it's not as good as eating there but during covid they've adapted to provide their food for take out.

Came in here for something quick to eat and it was my first time here. Luis did a great job explaining the menu to me and even provided some recommendations

disappointing. That's all I want to say. Glad to find out a ramen place near by where I live. Hoped this place would save me from 15 min of drive to What's up Men which is one of my favorites. I just need to keep making 15 min drive for ramen cause this place apparently does not meet my expectation at all. shame.

Workers are very welcoming and patient when helping with orders. They also gave generous portions, much more than I was expecting! While they're not the best ramen I've ever had, they're still a nice place to snack at while at the mall. They're among the few that are open during the pandemic as stores are slowly opening in the mall. They are constantly cleaning and sanitizing anywhere people have sat down, even outside the restaurant. I would definitely stop by for another bite!

This little gem within the mall is amazing!!! We had the pork bowl, ramen, and curry -they were all delicious! And at a good price! This is our first sit down restaurant after the quarantine. I highly recommend checking it out!!!

Basically the same taste as the ones in Irvine/costa mesa. AKA best ramen in OC.

Great price, great food, especially if you don't want the typical food court meals. I usually get the spicy ramen, and pork and rice, or the salmon and rice. So delish! They are crowded though, so can be a wait sometimes if you come during prime times.

When it was advertised Santouka would be arriving to the Brea Mall I was pleasantly surprised. My long drive to the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Torrance was now relegated to a 5 minute drive. Yes! Located next to the food court the establishment serves the same Ramen as it's other locations. The food is just as good. The Spicy miso ramen has the flavorful umami pork and miso broth with some kick that satisfies the savory taste. The noodles are cooked slightly chewy and the toppings of pork slices, green onion, bamboo shoots go well. The Shio broth has a salty brine that taste great well. As you can imagine I'm drinking lots of water. A nice complement to these bowls of noodles are the rice bowls. I particularly enjoyed the Fried Rice! Looking for some good Japanese Ramen after a day of shopping? There it is. Oh yea, the cashier actually knew if there were any food allergies. Nice.

Love that they have a Santouka outside of Mitsuwa. Not only is the parking 1000 times better, but like the Japanese market version, you can take your meal to the main food court for additional seating. Plus, this one takes credit cards which is super handy. Depending on when you go, the line can wrap, but moves fairly quickly. Once you pay, you're given a buzzer and then you wait for your food. They have a few seats inside, but unless you arrive early or eating with just one other person, it's sometimes better to seek other seating in the main mall area. We usually go large with the spicy miso ramen. The broth has a nice kick to it and there's a good amount of noodles and pork to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. However, in pure gluttonous fashion, Jaime and I usually share a small side of fried rice as well... cause you know, life is better with more carbs in it. The people that work there are friendly and helpful. One gripe... I wish they had bigger water cups and that they weren't styrofoam. Other than that, the food is delish and keeps us coming back.
