I wasn't going to write this review because I own a small business and don't like Yelp reviews much because they are not always honest but after reading that Scotty had done this to another patron I made up my mind to go ahead and post it. About 4 years ago just before Covid I made reservations a few months ahead of time to have our company Christmas dinner there. Scotty exchanged a few texts with me firming up the date, time and menu. The day of the dinner we all showed up and were turned away very rudely by Scotty himself claiming that he never spoke with me and we never made reservations. He talked to all of my employees as if we were trash. Fortunately I saved all of our text messages that showed proof of our dinner party and his dishonesty. He still kicked us out of his restaurant saying "I'm sure you're going to post a bad Yelp review about this". We ended up driving to Sweeney's and they welcomed us with open arms!! We had our Christmas dinners there every year after that until they closed.

Easily some of the best food I have had In a long time. Scottie remembers names and makes visit very personal. Although bar drink selection is small, no drink will cause a disappointment. Piano player makes ambiance super romantic.

This is one of my go to's for an intimate and warm experience. The food is seasonal and exquisite. Once i tried it I and my family became regulars. The warm service and ambiance were something my husband and I had been looking for. Great French inspired food, soothing live music and a maitre d' made us happy and continuous customers

Night out for a friends birthday.. Big mistake!! we planned a last minute birthday dinner for a friend could not decide what restaurant to go to finally landed on Scotties . It had good reviews pictures of the food looked good . Made a reservation for 6:30 and I think we got our check at 8:30 we left at almost 9 . First off we couldn't order anything for at least 30 min in because there is only one waiter which is also the host and also the bartender . There was only one person working the whole front of house which is ridiculous . We wanted to get up and walk out but didn't want to be rude . Not sure if the guy had no personality was rude or just over worked .. so now getting to the food, my friend ordered the steak which came out with mushrooms on top. The plate looked nice, but had no seasoning no salt no pepper nothing just tasted like a hunk of meat on a plate. My wife ordered the salmon plate which was OK decent but not worth coming back For. I ordered the duck confit it was overcooked and dry, and had no flavor at all. No seasoning I had to put salt and that didn't even help the dish. The ambience of the place was nice. The place wasn't dirty at all. It had a nice piano mirrors on the wall white tablecloth, candles very romantic place. It's a shame that the service and food short of this of this restaurants potential. I'm sure a long time ago. This place used to be good from the reviews that I had definitely needs to elevate their food and service higher more help.

Where do I begin!!!!!! Hands down the best restaurant in Brentwood. Scottie was so sweet and the best server. So friendly and outgoing, amazing appetizers, amazing dinner everything was so fresh and tasted so good. They had a live pianist here and that just made it so much better. The ambience was great! I had the best experience here. They played amazing music and enjoyed it so much. I will definitely be coming back asap!!!!! This place is so adorable and looks so upscale inside. Very welcoming, I can go on and on do not hesitate to make your dining experience a great one!!!!!!!

The food is absolutely phenomenal! We got the garlic bread, mussels, salmon and chicken cordon bleu- it was 10/10. The service couldn't have been better and the restaurant was so cozy and welcoming! Can't wait to go back

We had just moved into town and my husband and I wanted to celebrate with our first date night. Glad we picked this place because it was a memorable experience. You'll notice that Scottie put a lot of thought into the place, with decor, live piano playing, and a tasty menu. Definitely recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a special night out. We had an early dinner so it felt like we had the restaurant to ourselves, then others started to show up and it was a nice lively environment. We'll be back for more!

We came in right when they opened for the night. Luckily we were able to get a table as they were fully booked with reservations. Scottie was excellent and made us feel right at home. All the food was great. My daughter even said her pasta was "as good as chocolate" which is high praise. We will be back, with a reservation next time.

So, a few years ago this used to be one of me and my husband's favorite spots, but then covid happened, and we forgot about it for a while. So when we were planning on where to go for Valentine's Day we decided to revisit our old favorite...we are now regretting our choice.Omg...it is nothing like it used to be! There was literally one waiter (who was also playing bar tender) for the whole restaurant! Not even joking! One waiter! One!!! We came in at 6:30 and didn't get our check until 8:50. It was a half an hour wait just to put in our order! We were also kept waiting forever for our entrees, kept waiting another twenty+ minutes after that for our dessert, and after that it was an extremely long wait for the check. If this is how they're running things now I have no interest in ever coming back. It put a huge damper on our Valentine's Day date.From looking at a few other recent reviews, this wasn't an accidental staffing misshap either. This is just how the place operates now. If the owner can't afford to hire more staff, patrons should at least be warned when making a reservation. I made a reservation for Valentine's Day well in advance and wasn't warned that they were now operating on a skeleton crew, wich pisses me off. We spent over $200 for an extremely frustrating experience. Never again.

Scottie's is an outstanding place to celebrate a special event - birthday, anniversary, holidays. The food is amazing and tasty; the atmosphere is relaxing; the service is topnotch with Scottie treating his guests like royalty. Try it!! You won't be disappointed ??Parking: We always seem to find a spot for early dinnertime. Not sure about later in the evening.

We just went to Scotties in Brentwood this last weekend for a birthday dinner. There were 4 of us and we all had a wonderful time. Scottie is a one of a kind. He runs the whole show all by himself. Not sure if there's kitchen help but he runs the whole dining room alone. The food was wonderful. The girls had duck confit. I had the cioppino and my buddy had the filet & shrimp. They were all delicious.The atmosphere was very relaxing and very enjoyable with good friends and a pianist playing mood music in the background. If you just want to go eat quickly, this may not be the best place for you. This is more of a dining experience. Plan for at least a couple of hours for the whole evening. Ours was closer to 3 hours but we all walked out happy and full. It was so good we're trying to get on his New Years Eve dinner list.
