I've lived in the area for three decades, (South Bay, East Bay & the Peninsula) but only recently discovered the historic 7 Mile House and can't wait to return. In fact, I'm headed there right after I post this ;.) I walked in on a weekday afternoon for a late lunch / early dinner to-go and sat at the bar with affable locals who all seemed to be enjoying themselves. I was warmly welcomed by the bartender; cocktail service was swift and with a friendly smile. Their mouth-watering menu offers much to choose from. After some deliberation, I selected their pulled pork adobo sandwich with a "side" salad which was an enormous serving of fresh field greens (entree size) along with the gigantic, succulent sandwich which DID NOT disappoint. The meat was tender and smokey, and their adobo is what I'm going back for today ! There was plenty to feed at least two people or one hungry woman with a half sandwich left over for lunch the following day. See you at the Seven ! I've gotta go ~ photos next time . . .

Would go again because they have a doggy menu, but honestly their food was not a big deal. Their outdoor area is right next to the restrooms so we could smell it a little.

When my furry companion Mimi went missing for a month, my heart ached for her every day. But thankfully, we've been reunited and I couldn't be more grateful. So, to celebrate this joyous occasion, I invited Mimi's pal Ziggy and we headed over to 7 Mile House - the ultimate destination for both humans and their furry companions. For five consecutive years, this spot has been crowned the best dog-friendly restaurant by SF Weekly - and for good reason! With a special menu tailored for our four-legged friends, including doggy beer and cigars, Mimi and Ziggy were living their best lives. But don't worry, us humans didn't miss out on the deliciousness either. From American to Filipino cuisine, there's something for everyone at 7 Mile House. And trust me, you don't want to miss out on the Ube colada or the Sisig Manila Style. But the real showstopper? The Ube tres leche - a dessert that won the 2021 Ube Bake-Off Competition.

7 mile House is my neighborhoods gem. Food is some of the best the City has to offer...Service from the first greeting is hands down gracious and attentive...And the ambiance is about as warm and inviting as any home away from home. But dont take my word for it, i dare u to go there and not have the same quality experience...

7 Mile House is located seven miles from Portsmouth Square and was one of many "mile houses" (typically located at every mile along a road) where travelers on stagecoaches stopped to rest. Today, it's a popular sports bar that serves a crazy mix of American, Italian, and Filipino food (and more)! We started with the Pork and Chicken Lumpias, the classic Filipino fried spring rolls stuffed with a minced meat filling and served with a sweet and savory dipping sauce on the side--the perfect bar snack! The Cioppino was a classic San Francisco stew made with a hearty tomato broth along with Dungeness crab, squid, scallops, mussels, prawns, and fish, served with a side of garlic bread. But the most interesting item to be served here was the Famous Pork Adobo with Rice, a classic Filipino dish made of tender chunks of pork in a marinade of soy sauce and vinegar, topped with fried garlic and served with a pyramid of jasmine rice on an iron plate. The pork was super tender, and the marinade had a balanced savory and acidic flavor, enhanced by the crispy garlic on top. But my favorite dish was the Brazilian Fish Chowder (Moqueca), a yellow spiced coconut broth containing basa fish and chopped peppers/onions. The coconut broth was hearty, savory, and delicious, and paired perfectly with the jasmine rice served on the side. Overall, the portions here were incredibly generous for the prices, and the flavors of the food were on point too. The service was rather slow and the water tasted funny, but this was definitely a unique and historic restaurant worth checking out!

This was my first time here; the waiter was friendly and attentive. Although the patio wasn't open yet, the waiter allowed us to sit outside, and made sure to check on us regularly. I will definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Just had an encounter with the hostess at 7 mile house. We were a party of two adults; 1 child - and we wanted to sit inside. There was a visible table inside that needed clearing. Hostess: we have no seating inside. And because people are coming in for the game, I can't give you a timeframe. Me: sounds and looks to me (looking inside) that you don't want our business. Hostess: no... it's not that... it's just that people just sat down (Meanwhile a table right in the doorway had three (3) cups on it. It needed to be cleared) Me: ok. We will find someplace else You've got to serve the community in which you reside!!! That is all.

7 Mile House is a jewel on the border of Brisbane and San Francisco - great food and drinks, service and nightly live music - they have a patio and are extremely dog friendly. Highly recommended!
