This review is for the Uni Rice bowl only. First, the uni bowl here is certainly not the biggest. That being said, it is more than worth it for the price. Each uni bowl (and I ordered 3) are a little bit bigger than my fist-I'm referring to the bowl itself, spines excluded. And for ~$10 (tax and tip included) where else can you get a uni bowl? The Uni bowl comes with a scoop of rice, topped with roe and seaweed salad. The Uni, rice etc. are all fresh. No weird flavors (unless you count the salt water). Recommendation-make sure you eat the Uni with the rice. It is what makes this delicious. You don't need reservations, and there's certainly no dress code. If you like fresh uni, this is the place.

If I could rate this restaurant negative stars, I would. My family and I used to frequent this place often, several years back. Service was efficient and friendly, food was always fresh and beautifully prepared, and the atmosphere and ambience would contribute a pleasant experience. However, this restaurant has been on the decline since then. My family went yesterday, and every single aspect of the restaurant failed to meet our (relatively low) expectations. All we could ask for was a restaurant that served fresh food without too many distractions. What we experienced was completely the opposite. Not only was the service so slow and deceptive, the fish we ordered was NOT fresh; it must have been at least a week old for the fish to be so rotten. There was loud Korean and American music playing at the same time, the chefs were not following hygienic protocols behind the sushi bar, and we all went home with upset stomachs by the end of the night. I usually don't leave reviews, but this experience was incredibly negative and harmful to us, and any and all patrons considering dining here. We used to be a big fan, but we were more than disappointed by this restaurant yesterday.

Igot the halibut combo $99. Sashimi and side dishes are NOT fresh. Only reason why this place is open becuase there are not a lot of other sashimi places around.

this is the worst sushi place ever. the sushi was lukewarm, chewy, and the raw oyster was rotten. do not come here. there were only two old men working and serving. no water was served. where are the health inspectors??? there are no quality control. menu is limited to combo plates which are over $100.

Do not go here. Period. Hands down worst dining experience of my life. Owner was serving and cooking. Made it very clear he did not give two shits about his business or the customers. I honestly feel terrible writing a bad review bc clearly they're struggling. But he should at least try and make the best of the situation and provide some quality of service. Purchasing sashimi from the Korean market next door and eating at home would be lights years better than eating here. Don't do it guys. Simply don't.

WOW. We were going to order sashimi platter and abalone porridge but as they're taking our order, they tell us the special combo comes with porridge and fried shrimp. I don't eat sashimi and just wanted some porridge but we go with the special since it comes with allll this other stuff (or that's what we're told). Food comes out, some are edible and some are just nasty. Whatever since I'm going to eat the porridge. As we're finishing up, we ask when the porridge and fried shrimp is coming out. The waitress tells us it no longer comes with porridge or fried shrimp because "coronavirus". Lol what? So why did they tell us it does then? Too much bs for one meal.
