Delicious fresh very hot, the flavor and crispness of the orange chicken was perfect and big portions. Got side noodles 4.99 and fired rice 3.99 worth it

We have tried this spot a few times and want to like it but it never turns out that way. Over priced and sub par at best. Do the drive down to Orangethorpe and valley view and try Panda Inn so much better.

Big Chopsticks is a small (5-unit) chain of quick-service eateries serving Americanized Chinese food in Orange County, California. The Buena Park location is in an old strip center on Orangethorpe Avenue near the intersection with Auto Center Drive. I placed a take-out order here in April 2022. The strip mall in which it’s located is old and not terribly well-kept, and some of the people hanging around the nearby convenience store seemed a little sketchy. The restaurant’s sign seemed shiny and new, but the dining room did not have the same pristine look; in fact, they were clearly using part of the service counter and the dining room as storage areas for boxes. The food I ordered was actually pretty good – the Honey Walnut Shrimp and Orange Chicken were tender, tasty and freshly-cooked. The chow mein had a nice depth of flavor that you don’t always find from Chinese take-out joints. The prices were a little higher than I expected, but the portions were also more generous than expected, so the price I paid was fair. The service I received was efficient but not terribly enthusiastic. Given the quality of the food, would I come back? Probably not, as there are comparably good (and cleaner) take-out spots equally close to me in settings that feel much more hospitable and secure.

Tasty and good portions! We did an Uber Eats order and was specific about an item we ordered - no veggies in the noodles - they got it right! Everything ordered was delicious and prices are reasonable.

I ordered online today and the food came even earlier as expected. Food was very delicious. Will be ordering again soon.

Horrific wait time and costumer service!!! Just horrible!!!! Not worth the wait!!!!! Waited 50 min for ONE item!! One!!! Not even a big item!! I then found a cockroach at the bottom of the brown bag! I couldn’t even eat it and gagged after that!

Stopped in here for lunch today, and got the lunch special. Kung pao chicken, fried rice, soup, and an egg roll for $11 and change. Totally worth it. They make it fresh unlike fast service steam table chinese places, so it was piping hot when it came out. The portion was huge, I couldn't even finish it. Will definitely be coming back.

Shrimp is overcooked and padded with lettuce. Beef special is under seasoned, but tender. The biggest problem is the price - even with coupons, it is definitely not worth the money. Chinese takeout should be like $10 for an entree, and better quality.
