Hit with a sudden urge for spicy pork stew (gamjatang), I decided to try out a new restaurant in Orange County. There was ample parking and plenty of seating available. Despite the quiet day, the waitresses were friendly and attentive, making the atmosphere even more welcoming. The gamjatang itself was delicious, but lacked the extra kick I usually get from my favorite spot in Ktown. It seemed to be missing a touch of hot & flavor of something something... Tasted too much like Kimchi soup. However, the portion size was generous, and the accompanying banchan side dishes, white rice, and hot tea were all excellent. The price was also very reasonable, making it a great meal overall. They say they're most famous for their spicy steamed short ribs.. that'll be my next taste test.

Came here 08/27/2023.This is authentic Korean family-style food. It's not necessarily a pocha or alcohol anju place, but it can be. This restaurant is similar in vibe and food style to Dine Korean Restaurant on Malvern if anyone is familiar.Food:Authentic Korean food with a variety of healthy banchan. Great value for the money. We got the bossam + fresh oyster and braised fish (dunno the English translation - silver cod?). These two dishes easily filled a family of 4 with some leftovers.Service:Service is relatively slow and they have a hard time turning over tables since there are only 2-3 waitresses and one busser. Lots of golf groups that come in during evening and night which causes a holdup.Ambiance:Loud and bustling, family style. Come with friends.

We experienced the same as Jessica L. We waited more than 30minutes for Soju and sides. I asked my waitress regarding my Soju and she said it will come with sides. I waited another 15 minutes for my sides and Soju. I then get my order right after that. Same experience like Jessica with old and loud group of Koreans. They must be the owners golf group. Food is good but her friends or older people first. It doesn't matter if you got there first! The waitress has no say so I still tipped her 20% because she was working her butt off!

Finally sunshine is coming back to California, and that's the great weather for some Cold noodles. It was my first time to try the combo of cold noodles and beef short ribs from daom_koreanrestaurant in Buena Park location. The short ribs was so good with right balance of sweet and savory. And the meat was a great combo with the cold noodles which was so refreshing. Also their banchan are so delicious, they have sweet apples with potato salad which is my favorite and I never saw it the other Korean restaurant . We also order spicy intestines sizzling dish. it was a huge plate and a little bit too spicy for me , but the taste was pretty good.

Friendly. But it's a little too crowded when starting to fill up the tables. You could say cozy, but the tables are too nearby.
