Coming here is like visiting you uncles who weren't expecting your company but they have to feed you since you're family and that's the mood of this place.Food hits the spot when it's cold out and you've been hungry all day. Loved the side dishes and they kept refilling them without us having to ask. Hot plate of squid and pork was delicious, and we got an army stew for 3 for 4 people and there was so much food left. Seafood pancake was just ok, needs to have a but more flavor.

Portion size. YUP. Unlimited Ban Chan. YUP. Great for my sick friend. YUP.We wanted army stew, and looked for places around us. This happens to be one of the many few places(in the area) that actually have this stew, in comparison to all the existing kbbq places. We got the hot pot - Base Army Stew(w/ serving size for two) and we were absolutely demolished. If you consider the ban chan and the red bean rice they give you, that's an insane amount of food that I think could have filled up to 3, maybe even 4 people. They did not skip out on the sausage at all, and they have fish cake for sides. Tons and tons of protein! This is a hole in the wall gem that blessed my sick friend's sinuses, maybe it'll gain more popularity as army stew becomes as popular as Korean barbecue.

This place always hits the spot and all ways hooks it up with the delicious banchan. Was sad they didn't have my favorite dish due to Covid but was very pleased with the army soup as always.

Ordered the famous army soup to go. It had about three thinly sliced tofu and majority of the rest was ham/sausage. Ramen came on the side but decided not to eat it because it had a very bad, spoiled oil smell. There were two pieces of rice cake which was mushy. Not to mention a small piece of ramen in the soup even though I never put it in. Bad after taste. For $13, I'd say there are other options to try. Not worth it.

The BDJG army stew here tastes so clean for some reason. The ones I eat at the pubs usually get me dehydrated but i can eat a whole bowl here and be totally fine after. It might all be in my head lol but I still think it's the best around here. I do miss the spam but maybe that's why it tastes clean?

I love this spot! They have tasty food, their menu is varied, The chief cook in that restaurant is a professional, I like a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always good, the service towards the customers is friendly. I visit often this place and I was never discontended. Highly recommended.

This is a charming place to have lunch. I had no idea what to expect and wow was I pleasantly surprised. Service was great, large portions and a lot more food than I expected!! I had the army base soup (which is hard to find), noodles, ban chan, and a smattering of great side dishes. I will be back.

I ordered army base stew but I had diarrhea from that night to next day. I think he served expired Korean noodle into stew because I felt something wrong taste with it. Stew was good but serving fresh ingredients is the most important and basic attitude for restaurant.
