Man what a disrespect. I been going to Ono for a very long time. I always get the BBQ chicken mini meal. This location gave me like 2oz of chicken and barely any rice. For $12 that is disrespectful. Might have gotten more with their $6 kids meal. Will never go back to this location.

I only have an hour lunch break and had to leave, I could not even get my order due to my time being up.Definitely DO NOT order delivery from this place neither. They will take more than an hour to get it to the delivery person.

Ordered food to go. Waited over 30 minutes, never got my order. Then they started cleaning up to close. I saw them using a soaped up towel and the soap water going in the uncooked chicken. I did not want to get poisoned so I canceled and got my money back. I will never come back to this location.
Great food and service they ran out of cabbage and gave us extra rice instead, when the cabbage was ready they came over to us and gave us a good portion of cabbage as well ☺️. Thank you to everyone from the cook to the crew at the register the food was great and the place was clean and inviting.

Long wait past my order pick up time while they pushed out tons of others and couldn't even bother to offer an apology for the long wait. They also gave us small portions of meat for our meals, will not be returning to this location.
The food is great but this the 3rd time I've gotten takeout and they deliberately give us small portions of meat. The family meal plates only had half the amount of chicken compared to the usual and its certainly not worth spending $45 on. Do yourself a favor and go buy 2 costco whole chickens. You'll get way more value for your dollar. This chain has lost another customer because like many other chains they're trying to squeeze every dollar out of our pockets and give us less.

After a bad experience I had last year at Ono Hawaiian BBQ, I was hesitant to have their food again. I chose to go to a different location and had better food and better customer service than I had at the previous location. The staff was friendly and surprisingly quick even though there was many customers. I ordered the Island Fire Chicken plate lunch, an order of the BBQ Beef Musubi, and an extra side of Macaroni Salad. The Island Fire Chicken has always been one of my go to items at Ono. This time around it was a very salty, and I did not end up finishing it. I normally don't have a problem with this dish so I'm not sure what went wrong. The BBQ Beef Musubi was good. The beef was seasoned well and it was juicy. In the photos they advertise that it's one large piece of beef placed over the rice, but I got Musubi with chopped up pieces of beef over rice. It all fell out as soon as I took a bite, but it's not a problem if you don't mind picking it up with a fork or your fingers. It was messy for me because I was eating these while walking. I feel like if it's wrapped well enough, the Musubi would be a good snack for on the go. The Macaroni Salad was decent. I've had better at other Hawaiian barbecue restaurants. It wasn't seasoned enough this time, but I just added salt and it was fine. I only every really eat here when a family member or friend is picking what we have for lunch. I think Ono Hawaiian Barbecue is great for those looking to try hawaiian style barbecue for the first time, but I prefer Matiki Island BBQ (they have dole whip) and Ai Pono Cafe now.

We went here for lunch in between errands. I got the chicken lunch plate which was around $11.50. This comes with some cabbage, rice, and some macaroni salad. Chicken was good and tasty, and there was plenty of it! I ate half of it and took the rest home. There were a couple sauces you could help yourself to. Both had good flavor and could complement the plate well.The only disappointment was that the fountain drink section had an "Out of Order" sign over the Coca-Cola (regular), and over a couple of the iced tea selections. I don't recall any hawaiian-themed ambience inside the establishment. You could get your order to-go and provide your own drink at home without worrying about missing out on anything from dining in.Is the place very good? Absolutely. Would I consider this place "authentic" Hawaiian...heck I wouldn't know. I haven't been to Hawaii in ages! With any luck I'll book a trip there for next year.Fingers crossed.

The "grilled chicken" was not that good it looked like boiled chicken, no flavor! Tables were sticky and dirty. This is the second time it happens to me at Ono, different locations though.

I ordered through uber eats but I called Ono Hawaiian to let them know to put extra katsu and teriyaki along with hot sauce I called told the gentleman since it wont let me add it on uber eats. I ordered twoChicken combos to only receive two teriyaki sauces. I'm disappointed since it's not cheap and you get pretty much no sauces for your meal. Just disappointed and my meal didn't taste the same.
