I'm glad I had the rare good experience, at least among the reviews here. Went back in January and was really happy to try a taiyaki for the first time. Got matcha and vanilla swirl along with my fish cone. Good, everything I hoped for. Would have been even better if the cone was hot and fresh, but it being room temperature did give me more time to take a nice picture without the ice cream melting. Probably wouldn't get it again because there's so many other dessert options here. But nice one time experience.

Got the taita Ku with matcha and milk ice cream. It was not bad, but not worth 7$ tbh. also the cones were broken :(

The matcha flavor is so bland and it's such a waste of money. The short male worker that looked very young had the most unwelcoming look on his face, and even sounded rude when giving me my order. There's a clear window for customers to see the workers make the orders, but he seemed to be very bad and gave me 2 cracked and burnt taiyakis, and he seemed like a new worker since I saw him ask the other female worker for help when he messed up the icecream swirl on my taiyaki. I only came here because I dined at Hansang, but wow, I'm never coming back. I'd recommend Overflo (first floor) or Okbingsul (first floor) instead. They have more professional workers with welcoming attitudes, as well as yummy tasting soft serve icecream.

Do not go there. 1) The staff with blonde hair was so stupid and lazy. I was gonna order the taiyaki and told her clearly but her answer was so rude. She said "what? So what" She is not supposed to say that way. 2) We tried this ice cream because we thought the visual of the ice cream is so cute. But actual shape of the icecream was totally different. The taiyaki was broken. Ice cream was splitting in the cup. It doesn't even taste good. I don't know why the owner hire this kind of person. If the owner read this review, I advise to fire her.

Great flavor. Very disappointed that some of the staff today were not wearing masks. I love The Source in general because of how safe the place feels w high mask compliance from area visitors and businesses. I have a child who is not yet vaccinated and appreciate establishments where all staff members wear masks indoors.
I spotted this location when walking around with my mom and dad after enjoying dinner at Main Pho in early June. They were doing a soft opening, but I ended up passing, as I wanted a lighter dessert. Yesterday I stopped by The Source to pick up more sunscreen and wanted to give them a try. It's a small location that sells soft-serve ice cream, walnuts, and macarons. You have a choice of buying the soft serve in a cup, waffle cone, or a fish-shaped cone. (The latter reminds me of SomiSomi.)The staff were very friendly and welcoming when I came in. I decided to try their milk ice cream in a cup. One girl rang me up while the other got the soft serve ready and handed it to me once I finished paying. The consistency is good - smooth and creamy. It is a bit sweeter than I wanted, but maybe I would be better off with a different flavor. You get a lot for what you pay for. There's plenty of parking in the structure for The Source. I'd maybe come back here to try something else if I wanted ice cream and not shaved ice or something else.

this place is beyond disgusting... $10 for a cold stale waffle fish cone and a half filled cup of MELTED ice cream. The waffle cone is extremely hard to bite into and is served super cold. The strawberry and chocolate swirl tastes so artificial and is simply just not worth your money. I don't even know how any place could mess up ice cream... but this place did JUST THAT. congrats. Just go to Somisomi. Because the waffle fish cone was just so bad, i went back to tell the worker that the cone was too hard to bite into and he replied "What do you want me to do about it"?!! The customer service was just horrible. However, after asking them to remake it, they handed us a new UNDERcooked fish waffle cone with NO nutella even though i paid extra for it because they said i would have to repay for it.
