My friends and I came to K Soul for lunch and were satisfied with our food. The service could have been better--we were only approached when we ordered, received the food, and then to drop off the check.- Special Roll (7/10)- Korean BBQ Bulgogi* (8/10)- Spicy Carbonara Toppokki (8/10)*came with one bowl of rice, but each extra bowl is +$1

What a disappointment and a waste of calories it was. We got mul naeng myun and bi bim naeng myun. The soup for naeng myun was too salty and fishy. The packaged naeng myun you can get at h mart is 200% better than what they are serving here.

All the food was goodThe atmosphere of the food stall is great! The server man also responded kindly.I also have a doctor to visit. The flounder was fresh.Abalone, sea cucumber, and sea squirt are great!Shrimp paste is also good. The octopus was not goodThe raw fish is delicious, but I wish it was a little more sour. The amount of sugar is too small. Why are there two types of cucumbers as side dishes?I think it needs some improvement.Still, it was delicious.

Decided to give this restaurant a try since I usually go to restaurant next to it. I ordered one bottle of fresh soju, one Kloud beer, and Mulhae Noodle. It’s a Korean spicy raw fish soup. It comes with some slide of super fresh Halibut, noodle, and lettuce. This is more likely a noodle salad than a soup. Besides a bowl of noodle, it comes with some of a Korean traditional side dishes.

My dad wanted to try a new place at the Source building and we stumbled onto this one. We thought it was really cute that it has the "pojang macha" (Korean street food joint with tarp walls, which shows up sometimes in K drama). It was a very good sign that they have the fish tanks to keep the animals alive. We ordered grilled eel and fish eggs mixed rice with uni. Both dishes were sooo fresh and outstanding! The eel was sooo tender and had a great flavor and uni came in the sea urchin shell and the fish egg rice was very delicious. The ambiance or the lack of ambiance reminded me the authentic "no frill" restaurant in korea and the service was also authentic, which means it was lacking. However, I am very happy that I found this place and I will certainly go back!

This place truly feels like a bar in the street alleys of Korea. I feel like I'm back in Itaewon whenever I see the plastic stools under the canopy on the storefront. I adore the ambiance of this place. To top it off, the food here feels like comfort food. Their selection is pretty wide, whether you want tteokbokki, seafood, or combos fit for feeding a whole family, they're bound to have something that can satisfy your needs. Plus the servers are very generous and always make sure you're taken care of. Last time I came here, they gave me and my table mate a free mochi donut with cinnamon! It was super fresh and perfectly warm :)

Came here with my husband to start the thanksgiving holiday. Wanted seafood since I am expecting a lot of meat on thanksgiving. This place have best of both! I am always wanted to try foods I maverick had before and this has bravery testing food adventure for you. We ordered some easy to eat things:Fried seaweed roll- excellent crunch and good start for what we have to comeCarbonara dokpoki- bacon-y carbonara white sauce with Korean rice cake- what is any soul food than that! My husband had the spicy version the past so I ordered the regular. I enjoyed it. Really helped eating the food adventure to follow. Uni fish roe bibimbop. Literally what it is and the amazing part is the fresh cut uni they serve you! Can't beat live uni!! Excellent bibimbop. To pair with the fresh uni. Seafood combo B Live sea cucumber, sea squirt , live abalone and another live uni ( if you haven't realized I love uni) Sea squirt had a bland with slight ocean flavor and not too chewy. I am not a fan of live sea cucumber probably because I am so used to the cooked braised Chinese sea cucumber dishes. It had a crispy texture and a odd flavor I can't really describeI enjoy the live albalone , taste like a crunchier sea squirt and more mild flavor that pairs well with the sauces they give youWe both ordered raw shrimp and they gave us an extra for free. Yum!!! It was moving when we got it so we saw it fresh Live uni speaks for itself! Overall great experience and recommend to eat with group of friends because they have combos that seams to be large quantities. They even come with banchan to pair with the food. We washed it all down with Sophie fresh. Don't my coming back to eat it with beer!Cheers!!

The food here is decent but was nothing special. We got the Spicy Carbonara Tteokbokki and the Teriyaki Beef Roll. The two dishes were enough to share between three of us for a quick snack. The service here however is close to nonexistent. The worker did not pay attention any of the tables despite it being slow in the store and was very curt and almost dismissive.

K Soul Food Korean restaurant offers a decent spot for a quick lunch or dinner with friends. The ambiance is particularly delightful when you opt for outdoor seating beneath the vibrant red canopy. Sitting outside, sipping on Korean soju or beer, gives you a taste of enjoying street foods in Korea. They specialize in seafood and Korean fusion, like the intriguing Carbonara Topokki. While the food is alright, it leans towards the pricey side. Personally, I wouldn't go out of my way for the Korean fusion dishes; instead, sticking to the traditional Korean foods and the signature seafood items on the menu is a safer bet. -1 star for just okish foods there.Quick tip: Find K Soul Food on the 3rd floor of The Source OC plaza, with ample parking spots available in the parking structure.

I loved this place, the customer service was excellent. I went to this restaurant everytime I came to the source mall and it was so worth it.

This is the first place I want to try at The Source OC (just a random pick out of many eateries here). The whole plaza looked kind of empty on a weekday afternoon and we had no problem getting seated upon entering. What we sampled: Sashimi (yellow tail and halibut) was fresh and the yellow tail cuts were thick so no complaint there. Sea snails spring onions salad: this tasted like cold noodles with onions and snails. A refreshing dish especially on a warm day but I'm not sure I would order this again because I don't think it's worth $30. Spicy carbonara Tteokbokkie: this dish will grow on you with each bite. I don't make carbonara at home often because it's very rich and heavy kind of food. This is one of the times fusion food makes sense. The smoky and creamy rice cakes are balanced by spicy Tteokbokkie sauce and whole thing was devoured quickly. I will never make traditional carbonara again. I might try other items on the menu next time but I would try other restaurants in this plaza first though. The price is a little on the higher side here but I guess that's just the sign of the times.

Their curry katsu wasn’t bad and their spicy carbonara tteokbokki was really soft. It was my first time having such soft tteokbokki but I enjoyed it. To me, it was a little bit on the pricier side but I still enjoyed my time there. The banchan was just okay but nothing bad here.
