Super cute store. Helpful, friendly staff. Lots of options - liquor, beer and wines. Surprisingly everything is reasonably priced! I will be back.

Fancy Free! There simple dialed in menu at the bar makes selections easy and clean. Love the aesthetics of the place, it definitely carried in to our mixed drinks. We went with the Pink Flamingo paired with El Tequileno. Great service, great drinks. It's a once stop shop for quality drinks. The block ice and the garnish were the final touches on the drink. It's a bit pricy, but you get what you pay for. I think the end user experience is worth it. I'm no mixologist but I felt like one when making it. I would definitely come back again to try another combo package. They also have a nice selection of craft drinks in the refrigerator.

Went in and bought a few beers. Two of them that they had out for $2 each, but when I got to the register the total price seemed off. They didn't ask if I wanted a receipt, but almost walked off on the phone, and I had to ask for it. After I emailed myself the receipt, I noticed that I'd been charged $3 each for the $2 beers. I walked back in and asked if I could just grab one more, and they said no but I could get a refund and browse the store for something different. Why couldn't they just honor the price they had listed?Edit: Sorry Dan, I review what I notice. If I like a place, I keep patronizing them. If I don't, I let em know why. I mean I've given the store a few shots. I've walked in and out a few times cause the vibes are off and the prices are normally not great. Thanks for the beer offer and semi-passive-agressive response, though. Really lets me know who you are anyway :^)I'll up you to two for calling me out and for the dollar White Claws (unless those are actually supposed to be $2?)

I almost didn't want to rate this place, so I can keep it my own little secret. Absolutely love this gem of a liquor store. They have a fantastic selections of fine liqueurs, heavy liquor, wines, bitters, and even garnishes. This is a toy store for people with a finer drinking palate. Ambiance is great, low key, small and hipster (if that's still a word hah). The guys that work here are knowledgeable and friendly.

Even though I didn't purchase anything, I had a nice chat with the gentleman about Chardonnay, I would recommend coming here and checking it out!

Huge 5 stars to this place. I was in the area doing some Christmas shopping and had it in mind to get my sister a cocktail kit, something I'd been impressed by but never purchased. A quick Yelp search turned up Fancy Free Liquor only minutes away. From the curb, Fancy Free looks unremarkable, like any one of countless liquor stores in the LA area. Take one step inside and the clean, bright interior with meticulously-ordered shelves makes it immediately clear that Fancy Free is in a whole different category. The service was incredible. I was greeted promptly by a friendly employee. He took me to the front counter and showed me their two cocktail-kit menus - one seasonal, the other their permanent menu in a rich leather portfolio. There was another employee behind the counter who literally could not have been more helpful. Despite the world outside being crazy with the pre-holiday rush, he was the definition of mellow and took his time helping me choose the perfect cocktail kit. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined giving a five-star review to a liquor store, but Fancy Free is in a different league from the rest. This may just be my new go-to bottle shop.

We had a really wonderful experience with Fancy Free Liquor. Met with Dan and Natasha and they both were super friendly and helpful. We were looking for a good red to celebrate with and ended up coming home with a cab and a Malbec. Great place, fun, and friendly! Lucky to have a store like this in our community, thanks Dan and Natasha!

Cozy chic boutique style beer/cocktail/craft beverage/wine shop with possibly the nicest humans (Dan the awesome owner, Tyler and Zane who have been in on my trips here - all super helpful) in beverage retail serving you quality service from 12PM until 8PM (holiday hours vary) daily! On the corner the literal corner of Lamar St & Burbank Blvd... A few doors down from The Burbank Pub this fine establishment displays both room temp and refrigerated cans not to mention bottles from LA local, domestic plus imported drinks of all sorts. You can purchase for the day, week and even in cocktail kit form... It's all about the way you like or if you prefer the Dealer's Choice... you can have bottles/recommends selected for you in their wine selection. They host events and tastings once in a while, which is a huge highlight also. The Purity Wine release party back in March was said to be epic! I missed out due to being out of town back then. Keeping an eye out for anything coming up soon (Instagram is where you might find most updates). Tastings usually happen toward the end of their store hours, 6- 8p.Fancy Free offers local shipping, California shipping and of course pick up when using their amazing easy to navigate website. Add some of their great merch, mixers, glassware or a gift card to your order as well online as well as in-store... Gift wrapping is available.Usually leave the store with two to three bottles of something new, often local brewery and winery favs when in the area. I'm sure you will too ;)
