I have come here on and off since the 1990s, and never thought that much about it other than the fact that it is a really good deal as long as you can stomach the food. Well, I just went there recently with my brother, and I was nearly in shock at how much this place has improved from whatever was my last visit. The variety, the quality, even the atmosphere, everything about this place is better than before, way better. Previously, I never thought I would ever want to come back here unless it was just because I was with someone who wanted to eat here, but now I do want to return! In fact, I'm looking forward to the next time! And I will be sure to bring a friend to share the experience with. To the management, good, good job! Now I wish I had one of these where I live. At least I get to visit Burbank a few times a year. [Update 10/16/2022] I am still utterly amazed at how much food this place serves. In my youth, I may have been able to sample some of everything they serve in their bountiful buffet, but it's out of the question today. The food is pretty high quality besides, so you can look forward to both quantity and quality when you eat here. Bring a huge appetite and give yourself plenty of time to digest before you go for seconds, thirds, and dessert. [Update 6/21/2023] Sad to say, but they are closed for good. Too bad, because they really got it right this time.

I had an excellent experience! Desserts are good, the shrimps here are my favorite, and the homemade chilli sauce they have goes so perfect with it! Definitely coming back!

This was an okay experience. It's a buffet, so there's a lot of room for expectations. The staff was pleasant & got plates out of the way when needed. There are a lot of booths for any number of parties. the food was decent. I got the sashimi and stuck to that. They do have a full dessert bar with ice cream, pudding, almond cookies, etc.

Horrible Customer service my parents and kids went in here to dine not only are the dirty but HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE they tried to OVER charge my kids that are under 3 years old full price when they're not suppose to charge and one of they're employees had the nerve to call my mom stupid he should be fired and reported for shaking his a** at her face and trying to make fun of elder people you guys should first learn how to greet and service your customers if I can give a zero star I will RUDE PATHETIC PEOPLE that don't know customer service will take our business elsewhere

Worst buffet in the world.. Found a stapler pin in the food..On notifying the staff, they were very rude and impolite. Do not recommend going to this place.

Asian Buffet with the usual selections and a tepanyaki/grill area if you want to eat food that is piping hot ... unlike the majority of the prepared dishs on the buffet area. Food is somewhat bland for my taste, but ingredients seem fresh and are prepared as intended. It is a buffet, and there's a lot!

Very clean restaurant, clean restrooms, i wish they would have had a little more of a selection (like orange chicken, cheese wonton soup, ribs) but honestly everything was very decent.

Unfortunately the manager was very disrespectful to us cause we asked about the lunch and dinner and he said it’ll cost 5 dollars if we touched the dinner and we can only touch the lunch and we asked why and he said if you want you can get out and even cusses at us very disappointed

Was better awhile back. Food quality has gone down and kids at the cashier just want you to leave. The whole place just wants you to leave! Sad..people there before were much more helpful and nice. Not worth the price...maybe due to covid though.Dine in: Yes

First time here. The atmosphere is very nice. Staff is really attentive. Food is generally good, like most local buffets you have to sort through the items to find what you like the most. I didn't care for the sushi, but the roast turkey and beef was great. They also have a fresh grill where you pick your items and it's cooked for you. I didn't try that but it looked great. Very clean as well.

The place looks clean, my water glass stayed full. As of 11/15/22 lunch with tax will cost you $16.53. The food was not hot(would say 80-90degrees) it was tasty but didn't seem very fresh and maybe thats just me. Probably not come here again but advise you to give it a try once.

1 1/2 minute read: New Town Buffet is just what you need, if Chinese food is on your mind. New Town Buffet is on the road to recovery after being a victim of #Covid45. It shut down for about 3 years. Previously ti that infliction, we were Customers as we did today for lunch. Parking is plentiful. The Staff is courteous, accommodating and efficient. I, myself, love their menus and have my favorites. My wife, well, she enjoys it as well. Next time if you crave Chinese, pay NEW TOWN BUFFET a visit. Thanks.

Worst buffet in the world, dirty plates, dirty floors, why they didn't clean nothing. By the way, they charge me upfront.

If i may give a ZERO STAR, I would have done so! My family had experienced humiliation from the waiters at this restaurant. Particularly TERRY (waitress) in charge on the day that me and my family came. We ordered 1 rootbeer for me, 1 pink lemonade for my husband, and 2 water for my 2 kids. When we are seating down at our table got our food, i noticed that my 8 year old son put 2 straws on my rootbeer drink. I did not remove it since we are busy and enjoying our food. I asked a male waiter for a refill of my rootbeer, and he said (in a loud voice), "you guys are sharing the drinks, i will only refill this once". I was shocked in disbelief about the accusations of the waiter right away. I asked the waiter that we are not sharing drinks because i dont allow my kids to drink soda thats why i ordered water for them. The waiter keeps saying "no, no, you share your drinks". I was so embarrassed at that point since the people around us looked towards us and could here the waiter's accusations. So i told the waiter if I could speak with the manager, he said that there is no manager availability but i could speak to TERRY, who is in charge of the waiters, so i talked to Terry about this incident and she said, "you guys share drinks because you put 2 straws in your cup". I told her that they are accusing us of sharing drinks just because we used two straws in 1 cup? I told her that it eas my son who put those straws in the first place. Also, i told her that I did not appreciate their confrontation that put my entire family in humiliation. In the end, we did not even finish our food because of the humiliation we felt while dining at this restaurant. We used to be a long time customer for them but WE ARE NEVER COMING BACK anymore especially they way the waiters treated my family. Never in my life i have experienced being humiliated like that. It come to the point that i would love to buy 100 cups of soda at that time to proof that i have money to eat at their restaurant!!!! I hope the management read this complaint and better train their waiters to have good customer service and communication skills!
