I didn't grow up here with Tommy's, so I don't get the affinity that some people have for it. it's definitely not always on my radar to stop and grab some grub. However, as a change of pace one in awhile, I'll swing by if I pass one (not on my normal routes) as the food is generally fast, decently palatable, and one of the more fiscally friendly options left in the world. Definitely a throwback to a bygone era of drive-up joints with outside seating, sometimes it's fun to hangout with friends on a summer night, shoot the shyte, and have an old fashioned chili burger and fries!

This Tommy's is old school. There's a shack with outdoor seating only. A sign clearly states no public restroom. The service is fast, the customer service is excellent, and the food was delicious. It helps to download the Tommy's app and keep track of any deals. Sometimes chili cheese fries sell for $2.99, a double chili cheeseburger or a chili cheese dog can sell for $2.99, and the cheeseburger can sell for $2.99 or $2.49.

Food is good but is expensive for what you get. They then overcharge you and then gaslight you that you ordered it, when you question why a hamburger, hot dog and fries are 30 dollars. They then say you ordered it. If I'm going to spend $30 on food, there's plenty of sit down places to go to. However if you are a tourist in town, I would say to try it, but not at the Burbank location. Plenty of Tommy's nearby to try their food out

Maybe I'm just getting older and my taste's change but as a kid, I loved going to the one on Roscoe across from the AB facility. You could smell the beer hopps while pulling into the parking lot. The chili burgers were awesome and was always thankful when my folks took me. So I decided to go to the one in Burbank while I had time to kill. To my dismay, it was just okay. Maybe my tastes have changed, maybe the burgers have gotten smaller, don't know. But it didn't taste the same 30 years later. Not sure I'll be back but thanks for all the memories!!

Parking: It's very difficult to park there the way it set up. It's a very small parking area. And u have to go in only one way. Which..if u pass it..u have to go around and start over. It's very narrow and small.
