As a former employee here during my high school and early college days, it was a shock to hear that SKB was closed. I have met so many wonderful people through working here and I will always remember the kindness, generosity, wisdom, and work ethic that they had given me. This place led me to so many other open doors and I truly hope that those who had been coming here either since the beginning or were new to this place, felt and tasted the love that they poured into the food. Will always cherish the memories made here!

Very sad - we had wonderful food here so many times and the place was packed with Koreans who knew this food was amazing. You didn't go for the fancy atmosphere but the food. It was the best in the area. Too bad the place closed due to the Pandemic. John and the owners did a fantastic job in the days before the Covid-19 ruined our world. Thank you for making so many wonderful memories with our friends + family eating there. I feel bad our community didn't order takeout enough to keep you going. You did your best and are to be commended. God bless the owners and their staff.

I am truly saddened this amazingly delicious place has closed. I've been coming here since the early 2000's. As someone who was born and raised in Burbank, seeing this place close breaks my heart. Just another sad reminder it's a sign of the times. Their food was just always on point! I never had a bad experience or meal with them. They were the sweetest couple and worked so incredibly hard. I just wish they would have given the faithful locals and patrons an opportunity to say goodbye. Literally they were there one week and poof gone the next. Thank you for taking care of us and feeding our bellies with your delicious food all these years. I hope they get to read this. =(

Sadly, this restaurant closed forever :(I loved their Kalbi. They're a great couple to work with. They worked very hard until the end. Thank you for hanging in there during this difficult time.

This site is my number one restaurant. Of all restaurants I know I like it most. I always suggests to my friends to go to visit this place. everytime I want to go to a delicious lunch, this restaurant comes first to my head. fresh and many types of food and a large menu.generous staff members, and pleasant mood. Not less important, the charge is reasonable. I tell about this spot with great pleasure.

Small mom and pop restaurant, I appreciate how clean they are. As you walk into the restaurant, you can see their kitchen area where they do all the cooking. Always very, very clean. My co-workers and I used to visit every week before COVID-19, order 4 dishes and share them - usually Kalbi, Chicken, Spicy Pork and Japchae. When you share dishes, they give you separate plates with rice, kimchi and veggies (spinach and bean sprouts). Sometimes when the vendors come to our office, they'd beg us to join them at Seoul Korean BBQ so they can get their usual Bibimbap + Bulgogi craving taken care of (they pour the entire Bulgogi dish into the Bibimbap bowl), plus order more dishes to share. They LOVE to literally pig out here. Their Fried Mandoo is also good (I think it's vegetarian), as well as Fish Jun.With Bibimbap, if you want to go vegetarian, you can ask them to hold off on the beef - this is what I get when I feel like I need to eat more veggies. I get two meals out of a single takeout order of Bibimbap. If you're looking for AYCE Korean BBQ or super salty food, this joint isn't it.

Have been going to this place for 10 years now. Hands down one of the best korean BBQ. Very nice owners, very welcoming. Fresh made food. Very tasty, simple menu . My husband and our 3 kids absolutely LOVE this place. The chicken mandou is very good. The kimchi is like one you have never had before. The meat is great quality and perfectly made. Definitely a gem in Burbank.

I take my family to this great restaurant quite often! This is my favorite spot to grab a bite. I visit this spot at least once a month. The cooking is very good, the team is friendly and the charge is fair. I like eating in this spot for a decent supper.

Seoul Korean BBQ beckons you from the sidewalk with it's open door of enticing smells. It is simple inside, and it is very affordable. The food is amazing, perfect for lunch. I'll definitely be back for more.

Oh yum. Came here for lunch and didn't know the size of the dish. Not only was it delicious I have food for days. Extremely filling. Who would have thought of all the places to get Korean food, this little hole in the wall place existed in downtown Burbank.

The food was good and I appreciate the price tag given the amount of meat you get. A few sides came with two scoops of rice, and a full sizzling plate of your entree. All for under $15. The galbi combo was $16 though. Either way, quite pleased with the portion-to-price ratio. One star down for the ambience. The interiors were not as inviting as the food which brought the whole experience down a notch. The menu design lacked life and character. It was trying to achieve the clean, minimalist look so typical of hipster restaurants, but with much needed professional execution. Harsh white lighting made a perfect match for the white plastic kid-style sectioned plates and cheap metal utensils. It felt like a work-in-progress begging to be finished and dressed. The walls seem to reflect trend, together with an open kitchen visible through the clear glass windows, barely whispering hipster and cool. It houses beat-up wooden chairs and tables the size of Asian physique. It gives a huge negative impact on the whole dining experience. I hope they work on this because the food is pretty good.

We had a fantastic experience in this spot. We liked the fantastic environment and the menu. The waiters are super affable. I’m happy we ultimately managed to visit this place.

A tucked away find well-known to locals, Seoul Korean BBQ is marinated with love. It is standard restaurant-style not make--yourself. While I love the ceremony of cooking it myself there's the benefit of not being smelly, having a pile of food at once and having the food perfectLy prepared. For cool it yourself goo next door, to the less-delicious Japanese inspired gyukaku, but for savory Korean food Seoul is your place. My friend who is a foodie drives across the valley for it. I enjoyed the bbq sampler with three meats, $15. Enough for two meals. Enjoy!
