Nice people. But after working all day and spending $17 on a sub only to get two small slices of meat and mostly bread was appalling and kind of infuriating. Subs are supposed to have meat in them and I was disappointed to say the least. It tastes good and the bread was good but if I’m paying $17 for a sandwich it better have a good amount of protein on it like subs are supposed to. If you’re a vegetarian trying to slowly work your way back to animal proteins but want to start small this will be a great place for you. I feel ripped off sorry. It was delicious regardless and the people are super sweet !

Back again and omg so good. I just think they make the best French dip in all of Los Angeles and the valley. Made with love. Home made. Just the nicest people always get the best food and the best service. Thanks again I love this place.

Clean establishment with sufficient staff. Pastrami has a nice taste. Roll was fresh. For the price I feel the volume was not sufficient. The amount of pastrami was lacking. I feel they were being chinchy on the amount of meat provided. This would be a 5 star if the amount of meat on sub was reasonable. For $14 sandwich I likely won't go back.

9 years later & Submarine king is still my favorite sandwich place. I wish they opened more locations!

I was very stressed about making a flight because my phone had just died when I got lunch here. The man at the counter (presumably the owner?) helped me open my new charger and showed me where to plug it in and my food came out super quick, all of which helped me feel more at ease. I ended up eating my tuna sub at the airport, and it was definitely better than anything I could have bought at the terminal! Thanks Submarine King for a happy ending to an otherwise stressful day :)

This is the best, family owned sub spot! I ordered the Sarducci with everything and it was delicious! Friendly staff, quick service, and they give a cash discount -- who doesn't love that? They have tables inside to sit at, and the place is decorated with tv/movie memorabilia which is fun to check out while you wait. Check it out!!

I was craving sandwiches after my little adventure in ikea. Looking for a place that served sandwiches I saw this place on yelp and decided to go here! Submarine is tucked away in a tiny strip mall off of olive st. I went inside and to my delight the whole room was buzzing! The walls were nicely decorated with comic books and art while the counter itself also had some cool action figures chilling there giving the whole room quite the comic con vibe. I looked at the menu and it seemed like it was a fusion style deli sandwich place with of course the basic sandwiches you can usually get at a deli. There were a few fusions I wanted to try as were there some originals but the basic for now is what I went with to be safe. I got the Italian cold cuts with extra cheese and pepperonicini inside with a nice green tea to wash it down with. I took a bite of that Italian sub and it did not disappoint! The main star of the sandwich in my opinion were the pickles! It was so good and sour I loved it! It made such a nice crunch after every bite and to top it off the pepperoncini gave it a nice little kick too! I really liked this place and I plan on coming back for more! The service was grand and the people eating inside were all just having a good time!

I don't know how they do it and what they put in it but the Spicy BBQ chicken sandwich is highly addictive! I normally am not a fan of bbq sauce on a sandwich but this sandwich is amazing !!! I probably should try something else at some point bur just can't get enough of the Spicy BBQ chicken !

Some of the best sandwiches in Burbank. Great food and a friendly staff. So many sandwich & bowl choices.Vegetarian options: Three cheese sandwich with veggies is the way to go if you want a vegetarian option. There are others, but the three cheese is my favorite.Parking: Parking lot is a fairly decent size but shared. There is free street parking within easy walking distance. That being said, I've always found a spot in the lot.

I love this place. Great food and great people. The owner (I think) is always there and so friendly. They do a French dip one or two days a week, and it's so good. Every sandwich I've tried is good. Chicken bacon ranch, the thanksgiving sandwich is good, the French dip as stated. I'm hungry.
