Me and my fiancée were looking at places in Burbank to have some drinks and dinner. We stumbled across Hollywood Way in a Google search. I was surprised as I had never heard of it and have been living in Burbank for 5 years! We were promptly greeted as we arrived and the restaurant was decently full for a weekday evening. Our server was amazing, super attentive, and made our experience even better. She recommended some delicious drinks (Blue Lagoon and The Jungle) and helped us figure out what we wanted to eat based on our preferences. We each got a platter and it was a lot of food! I would recommend these if you're hungry! My fiancée loved the ribs and is a huge BBQ fan. Thanks to the food and Scarlet - we will be returning!!

I don't even know where to begin with this one. 1. When the 2nd part of our party arrived our server didn't even acknowledge that they did t have drinks or ask if they wanted anything to drink, til our food over 30 minutes, to actually get someone to actually get us a glass of water 2. They messed up and brought extra alcohol beverages to our table that had already been paid for at the bar when ordered and then charged us for the screw up and charged for the ones already paid for. 3. I ordered a margarita and they charged me for premium tequila when I didnt ask for it. 4. The ribs were not even edible, they said would take off bill, did not. 5. Getting waitresses attention was a nightmare, the only one paying attention was the food runner. 6. We ordered the Buffalo hot wings and OMG the hottest wings we've ever had, when mentioned to the server her Comment was, "your like the 4th table today to complain about how they are." Um maybe find out why. 7. When my food finally came out it was cold, cold, cold. Asked for it to be hot... they stuck it under a warmer and the bun was burnt on top and the tater tots were hard as a Rock. never got to eat it. Brought it home for the dog. They did give a discount but $250 bill and all this drama. I'm pretty sure all 6 of us won't be returning.

We tried drinks (cocktails), food, and the salad. All were just horrible. The baby back ribs tasted old. Dried mashed potatoes. Beans tasted like they came from a can, it really isn't hard to cook beans and add BBQ sauce to it. The best thing on all our plates was the toasted bread we had imitating Texas toast. All of our foods was dry and just not fresh.

My grievance is with the food, I ordered a side of fries with my beverages and what I received look like a plate of left over fries perhaps from another customers plate. Seriously like 10 fries at most. I wished I had taken a picture of it. I said nothing in the moment because I was in good company and did not want to sour our time together. This was my first visit so I'm not sure if this is typical presentation but looking at the pictures from other reviews and on the website- the fries are in bags spilling out and looks like a complete order of fries and not leftovers sprinkled across a plate. Our server was very pleasant so I would imagine she would not serve me something below standard which makes my first experience disappointing for $33. Also, they were out of tea bags so I was unable to order tea. I do appreciate the bar and the Hot Toddy that was made! My order: Fries, Prosecco, and Hot Toddy

I had the tri-tip sandwich which was a bit greasy or buttery (I can't decide) on the bread. It was fine. A big portion to be sure that I didn't come close to finishing it all. Service was fine as I was the only person in the dining room, everyone else was at the bar.

Standard style sports bar interior. High top tables and booths. Lots of TVs for whatever sports happen to be on at the time. The BBQ is far superior to the big name chain places in the valley, but not quite on par with the small mom and pop places. Although, here you can sit and eat inside (or out if that's your thing) and enjoy it with a tall frosty adult beverage. The bacon wrapped smoked jalapeno poppers are my absolute favorite menu item. Highly recommended!

Live right by and have been coming for years, quality has steadily gone downhill. Came in last night for dinner and the high point was the salad. After which we were served an overcooked half chicken, a raw baked potato, pulled chicken with bones in it, bland mac and cheese, and a slab of tri tip that we had to cut ourselves. Hardly anything tasted good, and we barely picked at the sides. While the waitress wasn't rude, she wasn't the most helpful either and seemed aware of the lower quality of the food already. Management could only offer $10 off the whole bill which barely covered 1 drink.

I came here on a Saturday afternoon with two friends. We were told to sit anywhere we liked so we went outside on the patio. Our server was great and brought our food and drinks out fast. The nachos were pretty good but the wings (both boneless and bone-in were not very good). My issue was the margaritas were $17!! Yes we did order a higher end tequila, but charging that much for some sour mix out of a bottle and one shot of tequila was ridiculous!!!! It could have been at least fresh mixer's not that cheap bottled stuff. I've worked in bars for years and I know that the sour mix bottles used are about $5 each. It was just a major shocker to see a basic margarita for $17. And after my friend had 4/5, that $17 adds up. I know prices have increased, but I was floored that it was that expensive at a local "dive " bar.

Great options, friendly staff, and perfect tater tots!

I want to support local, especially anyone in Los Angeles doing BBQ, but The Hollywood Way seems to be experiencing service and consistency issues. I do have empathy for businesses struggling to find staff or needing to pay higher wages to attract quality staff and hope they can achieve that. As for the kitchen: if a menu items says cheddar cheese, don't use processed American. And if you can't, then change the menu or inform the customer so they can order something else. I know its a small detail, but at $15+ for a sandwich, its an important detail. Apparently the polite (overworked) servers don't think it's a big detail when brought to their attention either.

This is the third time I've been back here I usually come when there's not a lot of people in . It's always regulars at the bar when I'm there . Sadly to say the last three times I've been there there's been three different bartenders . Not very welcoming they're always on the other side talking to the regulars not paying attention . The first time I didn't really pay much attention to it but every time I come it's the same thing with different bartenders . It makes you feel like a outsider . Hopefully they can acknowledge people and make them feel welcome. They have a good happy hour and drinks so hopefully they can get it together

Love the baby back ribs and potato salad. Great deep fried pickle chips and jalapeños. Good selection of beer and a great place for sports. They also have outdoor patio if you don't want to sit inside. They also have live bands on weekends. Overall a great place for food, drinks and football games.

**GRUBHUB DRIVER EXPERIENCE**Got to the restaurant and the order was already placed 25 minutes prior to me getting there. No one spoke to me as the 3 ladies at the front were just giggling and laughing with each other and counting their tips. I asked 3 different servers for an ETA on the food and they all said they would check and never did. The one who finally did said it would take another 10 minutes. This after I had already been there for 10 minutes. The same server came back to me 5 minutes later and said"they are saying it will take longer so if you want to cancel the order you can."I told her I didn't want to cancel the order as the customer ordered this order 40 minutes ago. I stood there for another 15 minutes and then I asked for a manager. The manager was very nice and went to the back to check the order. She then told me it would take another 5 to 10 minutes. After 25 minutes I finally got the order (had only 3 items in the order). If you are looking to order delivery from this place I wouldn't waste my time. They finally gave me the order after the customer ordered an hour before. They don't seem too eager to fulfill delivery orders and I am pretty sure if I didn't ask for the manager I would still be waiting.
