Three of us were just having a light dinner. We ordered 2 arugula salads, Kennebec cut fries, a side of garlic bread, a side of mushroom medley, and the special salmon appetizer. Other than the salmon being somewhat skimpy, everything was great. The salad was fresh, and the combo of almonds, blueberries, beets, and cheese was delicious. A light, flavorful dressing. The fries were thick, piping hot and crispy. Yum. Great service from a lovely wait person. My 2nd time here- will definitely return.

I love this place. The food is consistently excellent and fresh. Chef Hakan truly does bring art and heart to his food. I've not had fish consistently prepared to perfection since my grandmother passed 25 years ago. I had the special of the day a red snapper fillet prepared with a tomato and olive sauce on top of a corn and soybean succotash. Hubby had the wagyu burger. It was excellent with a perfect char. We are looking forward to returning there soon.

Went for lunch...it was the best salad. It was ahi tuna crusted with fennel, avocado, hard boiled eggs, tomatoes. The homemade focaccia bread was delicious. Great table by a window. Had a terrific time. Will definitely be going back.

We were a party of 10 for an older adult's birthday lunch. Excellent, attentive service and tasty food. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and efficiently the food was served.

An absolute gem of a restaurant downtown. The food is amazing. I had the gnocchi special with a Gorgonzola cream sauce that was absolutely heavenly. The hubby had the sole meunière which was delightful. The catcher in the rye cocktail always makes me smile.

Brought the family here for my mom's birthday. I mentioned to the host we had two young children and he suggested booth seating to make it easier for them. They had high chair available, so that was a plus. Staff was friendly and accommodating, and even offered plastic cups with lid for the children. Restaurant had a nice ambiance, and food was delicious. It didn't take long for the food, though it wasn't crowded. What we ordered: .Calamari appetizer - cooked perfectly .Steak fries - kid approved .Wagyu burger w/steak fries - husband approved over prime rib alternative .Ravioli - kid approved .Seafood paella - mom liked .Special of the day - scallops on a bed of spinach and Brussels sprouts. Scallops were perfect. Overall nice experience.

Amazing

Not sure how to edit the amazing. It was just a meh. Ok, so. After a full day in napa we wanted to end the night with dinner. Found a reservation here and based on the reviews we were excited to try. Honestly, service was fine but the food...I'm still trying to understand what is so great? Maybe I ordered the wrong thing (mushroom pasta and I added prawns) it wasn't any flavor and n the pasta. None. My friends entrees were more like appetizers and definitely wasn't worth all the hype. The creme brûlée was the best thing but the only thing about that was that typically it's in an inch to inch/half dish? This was definitely made in a short dish and wasn't much creme brûlée in it... Definitely wasn't the best dinner to end the night.

I started w/ a Hugo gin drink, it was then only disappointment. It was quite sour with lime juice which overpowered the gin flavor. We loved everything else we ordered We had a 4 course meal that wasn't rushed. The service and the server was excellent and we enjoyed everything we ordered. It was quite loud in the restaurant, but it was New Year's Eve so it was expected.

The food was good. The portions were a bit small. The price was ok. The service was good and the ambiance was nice.

Great attention to detail in the cooking and quality of ingredients. This "American Bistro" brings the finesse of European cooking that I would rate as high or higher than any French restaurant I have eaten in the Bay Area.

My friends & I had our Christmas celebration. This was our first visit. The food was delicious and the service was great, most of the time. Once we finished our meal, the waiters seemed to disappear! But perhaps they were just letting us visit & share our gifts. We had to ask for dessert & coffee... Overall it was great, but a bit noisy.

We have been to Farm and Vine many times and have always enjoyed the experience. In this day service was especially slow - took a very very long time to get our main entrees which was hard with two hungry teenagers

We were served after a few people came in after us. Parts of my Turkey was dry, Fruit (4) flys at my table 1 landed I smashed it. Manager was not told. Only I saw them. They tried with all the people coming in to eat. Not sure if I would or wouldn't recommend to a friend.
