I recently had the pleasure of hosting a private event at TwelveMonth in Burlingame, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From start to finish, every aspect of the event was nothing short of exceptional. The venue itself exudes sophistication and charm, with its elegant decor and inviting ambiance. It provided the perfect backdrop for our gathering, setting the stage for an unforgettable evening. What truly set TwelveMonth apart, however, was the staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism. The team went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the festivities. The private party space was spacious yet intimate, allowing for seamless mingling and conversation among guests. The layout was well thought out, and the amenities provided added an extra touch of luxury to the event.Overall, our experience at TwelveMonth was nothing short of amazing. It was a private party for the books, and I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone looking to host a memorable event. Huge thanks to the staff for their impeccable service and for helping to make our event truly special. We will definitely be back for future celebrations!

Beautiful interior design and decor, and great ambient. Perfect place for friends to hang out, family celebration or dates.I had the Crispy Maitake Mushroom, highly recommend it. I also had the twelve months salad and charred cabbage salad. However I didn't like the following items: bean stew, too salty and way too much beans. The falafel plate, the sauce is bit too plain ? and the spaghetti pasta is too stiff, not sure if it was cooked well. The sauce is good though ??Still, I still will return for other dishes, maybe dinner or happy hour

We have only been here once. It is the best vegan food we have discovered since Shizen in San Francisco. We throughly enjoyed the tasting menu. So why not all stars? The front of house staff. Such a shame with such innovative cuisine. They were dismissive, rude and just down right unhelpful. It seemed only the runners and bus staff knew how to be friendly. Even the manager was terrible. You could see the kitchen staff hustling and getting the job done, as waiters and mangers chatted with each other and looked at thier phones. Because of our experience with the front of house staff, we have not been back despite the delicious food. Chef, don't let your hard work go to waste. Your food is beautiful, but that staff needs an overhaul. We all have off nights, so do give this place a try, but just know what you might be getting with the front of house staff.

Not a vegan guy, but I eat here all the time. Great staff! Incredible drinks! Order the off menu item Tom’s Smoking Gun if you like Mezcal.

This restaurant is elegant without being pretentious. Beautiful decor, clean and large bathrooms. The food is delicious and our choices were skillfully detailed by the staff. Service was excellent. The mushroom dish is highly recommended. Will be back.Kid-friendliness: Child friendly chairs and cups with covers available.Wheelchair accessibility: One floor, easy access, appropriate table heights, unrestricted space between tables.

The brown bread is SO fluffy and delicious. The fried mushrooms were also great. Radish cakes were not bad.

Hi, I've been coming to 12 Month since opening. Love the spot. I've been there perhaps 20 +/- times now, usually bringing a non-vegan with me (I am vegan 12 years, veggie for 50). The initial opening menu was great and I've enjoyed most of the creative concepts in the main menu along with the bar menu. I ate there last night on a date and I have to say the current menu is falling somewhat flat. The food quality is slipping downward and some of the menu items are a bit edgy for such a small offering. We started with the Fern dish which was underwhelming. Maybe it's because I've never had escargot, and I do know that the majority of your customers are not vegan but it was an odd play for a vegan restaurant. The main of Carrot Curry was also short of their high standard. The vegetables were overcooked. The curry itself was good but the limp vegetables detracted from the dish. I had the 12 month salad which can dusted with whatever that yummy seasoning is and it seems to have changed. It was underdressed and there was some greens past there prime that had turned brown on the tips. The bean soup and bread were both outstanding though! I eat at all of the bay area Vegan spots, Millennium at least once a month, Both Wildseeds and Skye Cafe in SSF, several vegan spots in the South Bay too. The one thing 12 month is consistently missing in the main menu are proteins. I hope they will think about tempeh, tofu, and combined foods for aminos to assist the vegans. Tofu would have been a great addition to the Carrot Curry, IMHO. In any case, I love the restaurant and will likely favor the Bar Menu as of right now. Hope the chef is getting out and tasting other vegan menus for perspective. Thanks and best of luck! Updated from previous review on 2024-04-05

Sat at the bar and watched the fun happen in the kitchen. Highlights, Fried mushrooms, falafel and the donut dessert! Tried to go again the next day but closed on sunday.

All vegan restaurant that is so delicious that even as a meat eater, you would never know that it's vegan! The restaurant and bar are both large open spaces, well decorated in a clean organic style. And, there is a huge outdoor area with creative and comfortable seating. With staff which is attentive and professional. They also have a great bakery during the day.Highly recommended for all kinds of gatherings or just a great meal alone.

The moment we start entering, the staff were already ready and warmly welcome us. Nice waiter that took his time with us and recommended the beets salad, we love it! Great food, great dessert, and great drinks!

While we were finishing dinner i was making another reservation to bring friends from out of town later in the week - that's how much I liked my first visit to Twelvemonth. After sharing a starter and a dessert and each enjoying a main course and their incredibly good bread, we were comfortably fed. We would happily order the carrot curry and the pasta with winter squash and pepper sauce again. I'm a fan of fried mushrooms, and I think the fried maitake were the best i've ever eaten. We nearly skipped dessert but i'm so glad we didn't. We shared the sticky toffee pudding, which was more of a loaf cake and not all that sticky, but the flavor of the dish (with optional soft serve) was sublime. Menu includes a thoughtful selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. The smoky, slightly bitter Mas O Menos with grapefruit and rosemary was perfect for someone who doesn't care for sweet cocktails. Pleasant, skillful service. The crowd was all adults, couples and groups of friends. I saw no children in the dining room at 7:30 on a Saturday and no children's menu. Which is not to say children wouldn't be welcome but I think only the adventuresome eaters would be comfortable.

I just got this restaurant on my radar and can tell you that they can aspect more visits from me and my friends and business relationships. I can check off all the boxes with Ambiance, professional service, clean, excellent food, nice wine list and the noise level was great were you can have a normal conversation.
