Everyone needs to calm down here. I had China Max and I thought it was totally fine. It's a mall food court and people need to alter their expectations. For me, China Max is reminiscent of Chinese food in any mall food court. I actually prefer it to Panda Express because it is a mom and pop shop. I thought the food was just as good as Panda Express and I honestly prefer it. Generous serving sizes and low prices. Typical food court Chinese food - definitely not 1 star.

They literally only serve you zucchini no beef and no chicken barley any meat small portions china max yeah the donut shop Chinese food is wayyy more authentic. They are cheap no sirracha bottles no terriaki waste of money I threw it away.

Dang!!! I hate having to give anyone a one star but it has to be done, especially what looks to be a mom and pop shop. Ate here this past memorial weekend Sunday at the Cabazon outlets. Wish we checked the reviews before eating here. It was the only place that didn't have a long line, plus the wife and baby were hangry. Food was cold, tasted old and ate it for sustenance. Now regretting that decision. Kid was throwing up with green diarrhea all night. Had to take her to the ER for dehydration next day. Not to mention the crazy diaper rash from having to change her so much with the diarrhea. Hit my wife hard the next day and is still throwing up with diarrhea with the kid. I luckily only got nausea with the diarrhea; if you can call that lucky. How do I know it was that food. 1. My parents ate everything we did except China max (they waited for the 5 guys next to it) during our four day vacation and they are fine. 2. The old cold food taste and the food was piled higher than the hotel pan could keep hot 3. They just looked like they didn't care. Lastly the steam tables were not steaming, so who knows how long that food was sitting there in the temperature danger zone. Just letting you folks know so you can save yourselves many trips to the restroom, maybe even an ER visit and excruciating pain. OMG the non stop cleaning of vomit. I knew better than to eat that food once I tasted it, I went against my better judgment and now paying the price. Most upsetting part was seeing the kid(17month old) having to go through this. I thought my iron stomach was impervious (eaten in 3rd world countries with no refrigeration) but rudely awakened. You've been warned, don't do it.

I honestly don't know how this place is in business... went here for lunch and they only had 3 meats to choose between. I ordered the chow mein, orange chicken, and black pepper. The orange chicken was so fried and tasted like it had been sitting there for hours, I almost broke my fork trying to eat it. The chow mein was so bland and cold. I later went home and had to immediately hit the bathroom.... if you know what I mean. Now my stomach is in knots.

The food was so disappointing, no taste on the vegetables, tasteless fried rice, the worst part is I found HAIR in the noodle, I just wasted my time, money by eating from this bad quality restaurant

If I could give this place negative five stars I would. I came to this place because I was on my lunch break and I am new and u familiar with the Cabazon mall so I went to someplace close to the store I work at. I was craving Chinese food. This food was horrible. There was a long black hair in my fried rice, which was disgusting. The only thing good was the beef, the broccoli was too soggy, the orange chick was too hard to eat, as if they cook it, sit it out and then cook it to reheat it. Will never be back here, a true waste of $8

We ordered 3 entree combo and the third item was put on top of the whole plate with only 3 small pieces of chicken so sloppy! When we kindly asked the server to add more chicken she was very rude and said "if you want more hicken order something else."

Rice and orange chicken all super hard to eat, The vegetables after cooks stay too long that are already soft. I wait 5mins to pay because no cashiers here. Terrible experience. If you wanna try Chinese fast food. Just walk few mins to Panda express. Do not come this place.
