Always a good experience!! Great food and drinks! I love their beet salad with shrimp. So yummy! They have the best salads along with the rest of their menu. Service is really great overall. Will be back!!

Came here because we LOVE the Porta Via in Indian Wells, CA. However, we realize the one in Indian wells was wayyyyy better. The food was good but not out of this world. The lemon drops were very good.

Appetizers, salads, entrees and pasta. Great service, but food is overpaid for what you get.

I've been here twice now and I must say I am very pleased. The first time I got one of their pastas I got the rigatoni and spicy vodka sauce and it was a creamy delight but just the right amount. I went again for my moms birthday Friday night and ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut and it was perfectly cooked, moist, well seasoned, and cleverly balanced with the amount of parmesan on the crust of the fish. Their wine list is wonderful too providing excellent reds/whites/roses from highly rated regions so the pairings with the food helps balance out the flavors nicely. Very happy with both experiences and would highly recommend this place!

first time i ate salmon was perfect, second time dry like cardboard, so i got the skirt steak ,it was over cooked on the outside and raw inside, sent it back and moe burnt outside still pink inside ,like if it was cooked before hand elsewhere. another time i got the impossible burger and it was over cooked with goofy marks to give it a look, salty and tasted like the nasty skirt steak ,the cook everything either next to each other or they don't clean the grill if there is one, cause i don't see smoke outside . got the branzino and the fish was not flat but kind of smashed and the plate super hot like they just pulled out of a microwave. got a stomach pain about half hour later. i'm not going again there ,expensive sub quality food , and the dinner guest look like the belong in a trump rally.

Our friends from the Bay area were visiting and we wanted to take them on a brunch/lunch to impress. We always loved Calabasas Commons so we booked a large table for 15 on a Sat at the Porat Via. We started at the bar and got some cocktails which were perfectly made. We then shifted to the large table and sat with the entire part of 8 adults and 7 kids. The lady who took our order was patient as the kids kept changing their minds and after we ordered the food came quickly. For appetizers, we had the Burrata with Heirloom Tomato and the sauteed calamari. Both the dishes were fresh and good quality to share. There were too many dishes that were ordered, but mine was the Pan-Roasted Striped Bass with brown rice and some veggies and I also shared the chopped Tuscan salad. Even after finishing the staff did not rush us out and all in all a very good lunch experience.

Consistent good food, service and ambiance. It's our go to for breakfast and casual dinners. Excellent!

Food is lower than average, arugula salad with mushrooms absolutely not tasty, fried calamari horrible and not crispy, skirt steak was ok but served cold, even Prosecco was plain and not bubbly. So sad to have such a nice location and ambience with not tasty food. New cook needed for better experience.

Great food and great service. Their menu has a good selection of food that is tasty and healthy as well! Nice location and good ambience!

The food was good, but not great. For the price it should have been better. But it has a lovely patio and that made it worth it.

It's really beautiful if you're on a date. The outside seating is lovely. It's fine dining-ish, but they don't really follow the rules. I was a party of 4, and they cleared 3 of my friend's plates as I was still eating!! Then proceeded to drop a dessert list. Rude.

I had never heard of this restaurant, mostly because I used to come as a kid when it was Johnny Rockets! Since this promenade has revamped itself, I was stoked to see a rather "fancy" place with seemingly great food. I'd like to start off with the service- awful. We waited at least 15 minutes to be greeted and given water. Another many moons later to be served that water or see our waiter. The drinks took way too long to arrive, and the waiter looked overwhelmed and any question I asked seemed to bother him... Sure the ambience is beautiful, plenty of food items to try from, but none of it was stellar imo. Tasted like food you'd get at any American style diner masked as Italian/Spanish "fine dining" Overall blah but did the job
