We were hoping to try the Four's Season Napa Valley other restaurant, but they were booked out months. So, we tried TRUSS instead - very laid back, beautiful views of the mountains. Short rib was very rich, burger was juicy, truffle fries yummy. Very typical hotel food options - something for everyone - pasta, pizza, fish, chicken. When you arrive you must valet. When we left it took some time for us to get our car - they looked shorthanded at the valet, taking away from the overall experience.

My go-to for lunch in Calistoga. Beautiful setting, superb service, delicious food. My favorites are the Chips and Dip, Chicago cracker thin pizza, Calistoga bowl and Little Gems salad with salmon.

Amazing location! The table outside looking the pool was so charming. Excellent service by Brennen Very fresh and tasty appetizers. We were a little bit disappointed by the pizza . ... The dessert was amazing ..The Panna Cotta was delicious The white wine from the property was delicious. It was a lovely lunch with friends in a beautiful place.

Unfortunately, just an average spot, especially when you consider the price tag, but overall nothing special. We had their highly acclaimed Cheeseburger that was just a shade above a Big Mac, which is their obvious omage attempt at an upscale version. So even though it's clearly a better version than the $5 McDonald's original, it's not worth the $20 uncharged. We also ordered 2 courses, and my appetizer, the beef tartare, which was very nice, only came out 3mins prior to our dinners. I had literally not even taken 1 bite of the app, before the dinners dropped. I also wanted to order a separate wine to pair with my aptzer and a 2nd wine to go with my dinner, so unfortunately I was not able to even get a chance to order my 1st glass of wine for my tartar, before I was able to order my 2nd glass for the main course. At least I got 1 of the 2 for the 2nd half of my dinner. Well a beautiful location for dinner, where we were only there for exactly 1 hr, for a suedo-"finer dinning" experience, which explains alot. I basically went back to my hotel afterwards, and order my real dinner and 2 more glasses of wine, so I could feel satiated and finally fulfilled. Can't win them all....

Our favorite restaurant in the valley. Unbeatable combination of food, ambience, and service. Always great to see Scott Trace who runs the place and who always remembers everyone in our family and makes us feel at home.

Loved Truss and can't wait to come back! Service was super attentive and thoughtful all around. Food was spectacular. We were celebrating a special occasion here and truss made it even more special!

My husband enjoyed his burger. I thought the bread starter we ordered was very dry ($12). I ordered a salad specifically for the candied walnuts but they forgot to add the walnuts and it took me forever to flag somehow down to remedy the situation (there was zero flavor in the salad otherwise-just butter lettuce and dressing-major next time remember the walnuts and maybe add some dried fruit??). Salad was "meh".

Had a rainy day lunch inside looking over this beautiful new property. Service was impressive and super personal. Felt like the entire staff cared about our experience. Food was perfect.

Ambiance and service were excellent, our appetizers were great. I had roasted chicken that did not need to be suvied. Traditional roasting would have been perfect. My wife had the branzino and was excellent.

Good meal, but average for the greater Napa valley. If you're looking for safe then this is a good choice. If you're looking for a unique experience then look a little longer.

We thought we would give them another try, as the last time, it was not good. They have not learned anything in the meantime, let's say. We were seated and then waited for no less than 2o minutes before being met by a server who was clearly in the weeds. We ordered a bottle of wine and a cocktail and then waited another 15 minutes before the Somm came and told us that they were out of stock on the bottle. It went on like this. He could sense our frustration. The restaurant was not in any way busy. Two cooks were visible in the near glass corner and were visible to the dining room. They chatted, laughed, and sipped from their large sippy cups, apparently without anything to do. There seemed to be a lot of staff, yet no productivity. Just wandering and avoiding guest gaze. There was a server change (the bartender), and he seemed oriented correctly. It still did not go well. The menu is basic gastro-pub fare with Four Seasons prices. The NY Strip was well overcooked, but we could not wait another long expanse of time to correct it. Basically, this is not the Four Seasons that I have come to crave, know as always a sure bet, and been to all over the world. Yes, I am lucky, etc., and privileged, but what it's taught me is that if I am going to pay top dollar to dine, it had better be Cusine. This is not that. I could get this meal anywhere, so why here? They have no guidance, no service orientation, and certainly poor execution.

We are regular four seasons diners around the world and this was by far the worst - and only poor- experience we have ever had. The waitress seemed to be having some personal issues and would disappear for 20 minutes at a time throughout the meal, neither she nor anyone asked us how any of our courses were, the waitress literally left the restaurant in the middle of service and the manager never came over to acknowledge it or apologize. A nice waitress took over our service after we ordered dessert and did apologize when I said it was a surreal and disappointing experience. She did acknowledge it wasn't a four seasons experience and comped a dessert but I was stunned the manager didn't come over or apologize or comp our dinner or buy us a glass of champagne. This was maybe our 75th time dining at a four seasons restaurant and we won't be back to Truss even though we come to Calistoga a few times a year. I can't fault the waitress for having some kind of personal problem, but the manager could have made it right or even acknowledge the train wreck that was our service.

Excellent service, ambiance, and food. We loved the recommendations from our server Brennen and the details of the dishes we ordered. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

Great birthday dinner here, food was delicious and service was great. Some of the best cocktails we've had, bartender infuses whiskey's and delivers wonderful twists on the classics. Recommend for all occasions!

We opted to try something new for Thanksgiving vs our traditional Solage or Sam's. The Turkey was the absolute highlight, but sadly, the only one. Perhaps they were unstaffed which lead to a rushed luke warm meal or wine served AFTER our meal was served. We were not given the opportunity to order our wine prior to dinner being served despite our cocktails being emptied for a while. Once the wine finally came, I asked if my plate could be re-heated please. Microwave was fine. I was offered if I wanted more of anything, I said "sure" as the family meal portions were not enough for 4 people (My partner had already opted to eat very light so that the kids can have enough food). The plate that was returned to me was the same plate with tablespoon portions that they had taken away. I wasn't expecting a full plate but we were utterly confused why they had offered. We expected more for $800.00. The dinning room was not at full capacity as we spotted several empty tables.
