Our third time here. I’m sorry to say it’s our last. Our meals (chicken-rib combo) came out to us on minutes, on a cold plate (not surprised! Although the BBQ is tasty, the chicken/ribs were just warm. Far from hot. When I mentioned this, the waitress explained that since they cook the entrees hours prior, that if they kept them hot after cooking, they would be over-cooked when they serve them hours later. So we suffered thru an $80 dinner, and by the time we were finished, the “warm” food was, as one would expect, Cold.

Outstanding if you like BBQ * Beef rigs were delicious * Hamburger was big and also delicious * Onion rings (big) were the bomb * Cocktails were awesome (Manhattan, Lemon drop Martini) Check it out next chance you get-

Myself and three others were visiting from out-of-state and were looking for dinner. We Googled restaurants and found Bandits Grill & Bar, and we are so happy that we did. The service was incredibly fast and the staff were friendly. Our entire meal tasted great, and we’re excited for the leftovers. We want to give a special shout-out to our waitress Vesta. You can tell she enjoys what she does and it gave us a great experience. She did everything with a smile, and was tremendously helpful! The only downside is that it says on the menu that the tips are split between all workers; we would have loved to give her everything she deserved! Great experience overall.

We came here as a group for happy hour, and it was pretty good. When we came, the main restaurant was closed and only a side room was open for happy hour. Drinks were good, and the strawberry infusion martini was great. We tried both the tri tip and fish tacos, and I personally found the fish tacos to be much better, but it was mixed at our table. The onion rings weren't anything special but still tasty. Even though they were clearly busy, service was still good. Can't vouch for meal time, but I would return here for happy hour again.

Bandits always a great place, but not tonight! We were sat for 15 mins until one of the four servers that repeatedly walked past our table acknowledged us! When she did approach our table, she was fake, took our order right away, but our dining experience was ruined at that point! She forgot my Diet Coke, laughed when she said we are out of our bread! We went in at 745, they closed at 9. The $18 a glass of Justin was old, the cocktail was tasteless. And the food was not up to bandits standards! The server was terrible, only started paying attention to us once she dropped the bill!I have been in the restaurant business for 20 years and understand all of the annoyances of the service industry, and make allowances for all of it, but tonight was one of the worst service experiences I have ever had!It saddens me greatly that after a long day serving people I can get a good dining experience! The manger was circling our table but never came over, it was terrible all around! Will not be returning to one of my favorite restaurants in town. The last of the mom and pop restaurants left!I left 15% only because as a server, I understand it, but had we been treated right away I would tip my usual 30%. Too bad. I will tip the servers that act like we are welcome, in another restaurant!Truly disappointed! Will not return again.

Awesome BBQ style food. I'm not a big seafood lover but the grilled salmon my niece had was excellent she is picky and ate it all. The combo platter my sister had was awesome our waitress was an amazing server. Sitting on the patio was a nice experience wonderful atmosphere

It's okay. I feel like the Thousand Oaks location is better. Easier parking, friendlier staff, friendlier bartenders. The food is okay. I'm just never as excited to go to the Camarillo location. I know either the food won't be the same or the waiters will be unpleasant. This location is either busy or pretty empty either way even with a reservation be prepared to wait 10 to15 minutes to be seated.

This is my second time eating here. This place is great. I've never been disappointed by anything I've had. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Today I got the BBQ chicken sandwich, it was so tasty! I was a little worried about the spicy ailoi that comes on it but they put it on the side for me and it really wasn't too spicy for me. Also, the Mac and cheese is soooo good! I will always get that as my side dish for just $1 more

Adrien our server was fantastic, the drinks were good, appetizers came quickly, but. The. Steak. My boyfriend and I got tur 16oz ribeye which was very reasonably priced and was one of the best steaks I've ever had at a restaurant, it was cooked perfectly medium rare all the way through, barely needed a knife the meat was so juicy and tender, seasoned to perfection and a generous slab of garlic butter on top and we added shrimp skewers on, the sauce was amazing and they were tender and wonderfully cooked. I live in Port Hueneme but it is well worth the drive. Highest of reccomendations!

Went for my nephew's birthday yesterday and the waitress was a horrible server. First off she wasn't nice and wouldn't offer refills on beverages we had to ask. For what you charge for the you should consider having better service. The bus boy or like an other review that someone left the Mexican was hell of a lot nicer than the waitress.

I built and operate a 5 star steakhouse in las vegas. Thus saying its hard to make me happy when it comes to dining out. I have been all over California for almost a week and finally found a place worthy of comment. I had a Tri Tip sanwich with a salad and a mud pie dessert. This place rocked it all the way around Great portions Great service from a waitress named Melissa. Great atmosphere . Come here you wont be sorry.

Nice looking place, decent music and vibe. Visited this location on a Saturday afternoon with a coworker, it was pretty mellow and chill. Sat in the bar area, received great customer service and drinks from the bar side, the food side was absolute trash all around. The person from the food side (tall skinny white older man with Grey hair spiked up) brought our food made a comment in regards to my choice of dressing, when I questioned why he mentioned what he did and made that remark he proceeded to smile at me and walked away never to come back. I ordered the lunch special pulled pork sandwich, macaroni bowl, and 2 Bloody Mary's. The drinks were delicious and hit the spot just right, the food was not even sub par. The bread on the sandwich wasn't toasted so it went extremely soggy because of the coleslaw before I was even halfway through it, cheese wasn't melted, pulled pork was extremely dry and wasn't even properly pulled apart so it falls off in chunks and you don't get pork in every bite, Mac and cheese was watery and bland on top of being borderline cold, "spicy j*** sauce" is more of like A1 mixed with Tabasco rather than a proper Jamaican j*** sauce... Was absolutely disgusting. I highly suggest to not get the food unless you're about 4-6 drinks in and at the point where you don't really care about the taste too much and everything that fills the void in your stomach is good. 4.5 stars for their mixologists drinks/ customer service 0 stars for the restaurant customer service/ 2 stars for the food
