II feel like the manger doesn't like Mexican because I have har over 10 friends applied that are Mexican but I only see white workers or black works.. thru all work in the kitchen.. when do u see a black or Mexican in the front

Great beer btw. Great food, and the ambiance is relaxed, fun, and sometimes entertaining. Always service with a smile. I work right down the street and the crowd is an indication of how popular they are. No worries, they will make room.

Institution Ale is an amazing place for food and beer. They have an amazing selection of beer that is all unique and tasty. I highly recommend their pizzas and their pretzels. Both are delicious. The service is also very good. I could not recommend this place more for a quick bite and a delicious beer.

My family and I love to come here when we are in the area after soccer games and track meets. I enjoy the seasonal elote pizza and wish it was served all year round. My second favorite pizza is the bbq chicken also keynote their ranch is pretty good. That's important in a pizza place. I finally tired a salad there and I am def recreating it at home. It was the anti-pasta salad! Fresh and flavorful. The pretzel is also yummy and warm! As for the beer, many choices, they change the menu around here and there. Nothing bad to say. There's a cute little shop where you can buy growlers and merch and you can also purchase kegs here for events. We've done it a couple of times and turns out great! Def recommend coming with friends, family, con workers! Especially in the summer time!

Have been to the brewery in Camarillo several times as the food and beer are good ,facility is clean , and the music is tolerable, unlike some places that play rap/ hip hop so loud you can’t hear or talk. However not sure why the staff are so unfriendly and borderline rude. We were greeted with angry faces, short abrupt questions and responses, little to no eye contact when ordering. No one smiles, or conducts themselves in a way that I would tolerate being a business owner. When dealing with the public your employees need to be friendly, respectful and kind to the customer even if they don’t want to. Not everyone is cut out to serve customers. Maybe they should just stay in back.

We have been to Institution a few times in the last month. Food is good and we had a couple exceptional beers but why are the employees so miserable? We had one girl that was super friendly and excited for us to be there but every male seems so depressed! Not sure what the deal is but a smile every now and then doesn’t hurt anyone!?

We ordered food for pick up online then went at "delivery" time to p/u...they were CLOSED for a holiday and NEVER returned our requests for refund!! How could a "professional business" allow this to happen!?! (Online saying they're open & taking your money when in fact, they are closed...).
While I've been a loyal customer at Institution since it opened and appreciate its role in bringing breweries to Camarillo, my enthusiasm is dampened by consistent service issues. The overpriced, limited food options are a letdown, and each dining experience is marked by a lack of essentials like plates, napkins, dressing, or utensils. Despite requests, the staff's response is often lacking, revealing a neglect of customer needs. It seems the staff is coached to overlook basic diner requirements which causes a lesser tip that I would be willing to give if the opposite.

Yes yes yes, I recommend this place! Pizza was flavorful and thin. Salad was tastey, actually stuffed my face with a Cesar salad more than the pizza. Only had one slice but in the middle of the night I had me another cold slice and it was bang'n! Will definitely come back to the Institution. Oh and the scene inside was really cool as you're able to see the brewery distillery which was really really captivating.

The pizza seem fairly good and fresh. However, I was hoping that they would have a gluten-free selection. I guess if you're not allergic to gluten, this probably is a great place to come. My only major complaint is that it was freezing inside.
