I'm sad to say I won't be going back. I've had lunch here consistently for the last 17 years - it truly is the end of an era. The last three times I've gotten a regular turkey sandwich something has been completely wrong from no mayo /mustard to very dry bread and today was the final straw - there was no lettuce and barely any turkey on my sandwich. How hard is it to make a sandwich really? Bo more A team here :/

I have been looking for a great Italian sub in Camarillo for serval years! Lombard knows how to make a classic Italian sub. The bread is fresh the quality of the Italian cold cuts is amazing. And the service is incredible, I will definitely be a regular client. Clean well stocked store.

Found this place entirely randomly - absolutely not looking for a sub but it was a holiday so some things were closed. Looking that the menu above the prep area the first thing that's listed is an Italian sub 1 $10 for a small. Comes with all the good stuff so I went for it. Order was taken by this adorable and friendly youngster that was probably family and working because school is closed - she had my sandwich ready in a minute and man - what a sandwich!!!! It's what Jersey Mike wishes they were!!! Would absolutely repeat!!!!

Their fresh meats are great quality, and the fresh-made sausages are amazing, especially Griller's Dream! Always great customer service from Ryan. People drive from out of the area to go to a quality meat market. I love this local spot!

Stopped by the butcher shop to pick up some meat for our freezer. I stood unnoticed and unacknowledged at the counter for several minutes watching the butcher mixing some sort of ground meat. He then wiped off his hands, grabbed a paper towel and blew his nose. He finally noticed me waiting and without washing his hands or putting on gloves he was ready to assist me!! NO THANKS! I’ll find another butcher shop!

Terrible staff. Terrible food. Inconsistent, and has gone down hill quite fast. Deli manager is a joke, she lets her employees get away with talking s*** to customers. MULTIPLE times I've called in my order or caught them right before closing my sandwich with it being totally wrong. They check the correct ingredients on the slip, but have MESSED up the sandwich repeatedly. Like read the slip for the sandwich you're making, and stop talking to your coworkers if you can't multitask.

It makes me so sad to write this... I don't know what happened to this place the last year... but they need to shut there doors... not only are the ladies behind the counter rude and unprofessional... the sandwiches are crap these days with no meat! The WORST part is, THEY DONT WASH THERE HANDS OR WEAR GLOVES!! I witnessed a worker handle the cash register and then a few minutes later making a sandwich WITHOUT washing her hands or wearing gloves! The sandwiches these days are tiny with no meat on top of it... I don't know if new owners took over but this place IS NOT what it used to be... even all my neighbors and friends have had bad things to say about this place recently... it used to be amazing years ago...

Great spot for sandwiches. Incredibly friendly staff, exactly the type of place you'd want to grab a lunch sandwich. We tried the tritip and Italian sun and both were delicious. I assume other less favorable reviews are due to prices (it is on the pricey side) but I'd rather pay a few bucks more to support a local business than at a Jersey Mike's or the like.
