I think I've had my last trip to Sharkys and don't really understand the hype. For years I've avoided this spot as I've never found a dish that I thought was good. I have some friends that like it so I wondered if maybe it was just me and I owed them another try. Came in when I was in the area as I needed a quick on the go lunch and this location is convenient off of the freeway. It's usually pretty busy here but when I came it wasn't too bad and I was able to order right away. I was also impressed that I only had to wait a few minutes for my food to be ready. Staff were also nice and friendly. No issues there at all. For me it just comes down to the price point and food really not being good in my opinion. I find this spot to be expensive given that to me the food never wows me. Also in reading their menu it seems like lots of proteins and such are an up charge and I just don't find this being a good value. One skinny burrito, one taco, and a lemonade ran me $25. No thanks. The shrimp burrito was pretty lackluster. The shrimp was rubbery and really needed seasoning. Everything here tastes kind of bland in my opinion. The burritos are also pretty skinny compared to any other spot I've been to. For a seafood burrito at a chain I'd much prefer Rubios. Here they don't have any good creamy or chipotle sauces. The carne taco was middle of the road. The meat was better than the shrimp but still not something I would crave again. The onions also tasted old and had that day old taste. Wasn't appetizing. I did like my watermelon lemonade but no one's coming back for a second trip for a lemonade. At the end of the day there are people who seem to really like Sharkys but I really don't see it. There are better white wash beachy taco chains around and are a better value. I'm giving three stars because the staff were nice and food was out quick which I appreciated but nothing I feel the need to come back for after having tried Sharkys a handful of times and always end up leaving disappointed.

Went in search of gluten free brunch., not easy in a shopping centre full of chain restaurants. Like finding a needle in a haystack!Initially the cashier was confused what gluten free meant but then someone gave him the allergen book, which was clear and helpful. He was also very helpful as there are a lot of ingredients. The platter I had was delicious and then the manager came over and asked me if I'd like some tortilla chips, whilst not flully gluten free (they are cooked on the same grill as flour tortillas). He explained if I wasn't celiac I might be able to have them If I wanted. It was kind of him.***American restaurants, please mark clearly on the outside menu which items are gluten free, so we can decide before we go in and hold up a long queue of people! It puts us off!Dietary restrictions: Some Bowls and platters are/can be gluten free .

Sharky's was recommended to me from a local when I stayed in Camarillo on business, and it was a great recommendation! I'm a big fish taco guy, and I had a hard time narrowing down what to order, so I ended up ordering more food than I could possibly eat. I ordered the Grilled Shrimp Taco, the Salmon Taco, and the Achiote Grilled Tofu and Veggies Taco - along with a side of rice and beans, and a Sangria to wash it all down. The grilled shrimp taco was definitely my favorite, but honestly, I really liked all three - they certainly ranked up there in the top 10% of seafood tacos I've had. The Achiote tofu taco was a little bland compared to the other two, and that was mostly due to the plane tofu. If the tofu had been seasoned and grilled, it would have made a world of difference. Don't get me wrong - I'm not complaining since it was really good, just offering a suggestion for improvement! All three tacos tasted very fresh due to their fresh ingredients. Also, the presentation was beautiful - they looked truly appetizing and looked just like their marketing photos. The rice and beans were pleasant, although not spectacular. The sangria was just okay although it tasted a bit watered down. Each dish comes with a small handful of chips as well, and there is a fresh salsa bar with a good assortment of options. I tried a number of the salsas, and my favorite was the guacamole salsa, followed by the spicy red salsa - both of which had robust flavors. I was a little disappointed with the chili verde salsa, which was a touch on the bland side. The atmosphere was inviting and casual, although the restaurant was a bit small. It had a modern and somewhat chic-Mexican style. Next time I'm in Camarillo, I am definitely coming back!Vegetarian options: Some nice vegetarian options that are tasty and not after thoughts.

Ordered via DoorDash. The restaurant messed up the order to the extent that over half the order was wrong or missing. When I called they couldn’t offer anything to fix the problem. Unsat. Won’t be going here again.

Ordered the Numex salad, sadly the dressing was not in the bag. Went back to grab the dressing. Finally home 30 minutes later and it's the wrong salad!!!

Placed an online order...order was not ready at the time of arrival even when there were no customers. Staff members just laughing and talking amongst themselves. Food was Cold...They forgot my side of guacamole and they questioned if I ordered it...maybe if they weren't joking around they'd pay attention to orders. Not a professional staff, especially the lady cashier just laughing in your face...unprofessional. They're even tight with their portions of food. I saw another customer come in and the lady cashier just laughed loudly in front of him too. Inconsiderate and rude. Not coming back.

Sadly we will not be returning to Sharky'z. The food was cold. Cold burrio, cold tortilla, cold soup, cold chicken quesadilla that had very little cheese and was very dry. Food is over priced.

The food arrived quickly, but i would not call this fast food. We shared a huge tray of nachos. Yummy and too much for two to finish. The restaurant was clean with a couple of staff cleaning up after every table that left. Great prices and friendly employees will bring us back.

This place has the look and feel of a chipotle or Baja Fresh, so don't expect much by way of ambiance. You order your food at the cashier staring at a board above the cashier, like any fast food joint. Here's where this place differs, the food actually tastes fresh. The nachos are the only decent nachos you can find in the area. When eating it tastes like they actually just made it, whether they did or not I don't know. It looks like they're hard at work cooking. Everyone in my party liked their food. From the grilled shrimp tacos to the fish tacos, and me with my massive chicken nachos, there were no complaints. The nachos grande are enough for 2 to share, which explains the price. This place can be a bit pricey, as they boast better ingredients, and do give you that freshly made taste. To sum it up, everything was pretty alright but nothing would knock your socks off. I recommend it to anyone in the area, but given the price I'm not sure I'd go out of my way for it.
