Food was just okay and way too expensive. There are better BBQ restaurants that cost less and taste better.

The pulled pork dinner is juicy and flavorful, and we usually get that and chicken breast for two of us. Huge helpings, choice of two sides, we really like the peach cobbler and the pecan pie. And the sweet potato pie. Very welcoming, intimate atmosphere, with outside tables available, nice folks, good value. We recommend it very much.

Authentic, quality family-run BBQ. The service and food was great, truly felt like I was getting BBQ back in Memphis. Absolutely the best BBQ in Ventura County!

They have amazing ribs, slaw, and beans. We had great service - hands down the best bbq in Camarillo.

Fantastic southern bbq. The candied yams are to die for. It's all homemade and delicious. Meats are slow smoked. You have to wait a bit after you order but the wait is worth it.

So good, they keep limited hours but get a taste of some and you will get the deal. This is a BBQ town with some heavy hitters but this place is the gold standard.

The old man owner is the rudest person you can imagine. He’ll tell you whatever lie can he can make up just so it’ll prevent him from cooking food and working harder than he has too. It’s 6:10pm and he just hung up on me and told me he’s not taking anymore takeout orders past this time.

Tried them for the first time. I can't comment on the customer service as we ordered Grubhub, but the food was great. The Hotlinks, are AMAZING, very Texas with the right amount of heat, and they are super tasty with the BBQ on the side that is provided. The mac and cheese is homemade cheesy goodness. It's not the consistency of liquid cheese, it's real cheese, when you dig your fork in and pull it out, strings of cheese are still attached. We did get pork ribs as well, and weren't a huge fan, they were not-fall-of the bone type of ribs, but I don't fault them for it. Some people like those kinds of ribs and the flavor was there. They were smoky and flavorful, just kind of got in our teeth a bit, and ya, not a fan, but still liked the flavor. Macaroni salad had alot of extras in there, peas, shredded carrots, and such. We look forward to trying their pulled pork and Tri-Tip next!

Ordered the Southern Feast. It smelled so good and tasted amazing! I know this place has been around for awhile I guess they got the cooking really figured out. The Southern Feast comes with the best baby back ribs ever, pulled pork, and hot links. It also comes with cornbread and two sides. Better than Woodranch and Bandits.

I've only been here a couple of times but the food was really good. Loved the pulled pork sandwich. Both times I came too late and they were out of potato salad. But I'm going to get it one of these days! Just have to keep trying.
