Gorgeous setting with indoor and outdoor seating options. Exceptional service and experience. Tried 6 different wines and thought the taste was good but not quite our favorite. Overall fun place to walk to from High Hill Ranch.

My husband proposed to me here in 2017. We come back every year and love the wine tasting and cheese. Of course we leave with at least 4 bottles of wine to bring home. Wonderful service and the wine is great!❤️

One of our favorite wineries. Paul and his staff take such good care of all their patrons! Discovered them last year during the Nevada day, on our annual visit to Apple Hill. They always take good care of Nevada residents on Nevada day, when practically the entire city of Reno goes to California LOL!Make sure you check out Rucksack Winery which is also owned by Paul, across the street.

Absolutely lovely setting super close to popular Apple Hill! Shaded tables under a lovely tree canopy for outdoor seating with views of the vineyard. Great vibes and incredible service- every server was super knowledgeable and went into great detail with the types of wine in each flight, helping me learn a lot about wine. For example, I learned about tannin which is derived from the type of grape and adds bitterness and complexity. So informative! The flights are a great price too, only $15, and you choose 2 types from 4 menu options. I tried 2 different flights (reds and whites) for a total of 6 different wines! Can't be beat really. They were all different and interesting with the Malbec being my favorite. Definitely stop by madrona if you are seeking a casual, fun wine experience.

Deep breaths. Cool breezes. Jammy notes and peppery spice. Pleasant people. Birds chirping. Lush vineyards. Peace. Calm. Stillness. Delight.

We had a great time at Madrona's during locals weekend which also happened to be our anniversary weekend. We first stopped at their sister company rucksack, which was amazing and ended up meeting Paul, the owner here at Madrona. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back again!

The setting is beautifully visual. The picnic tables are great for really enjoying the wines while overlooking the vineyard they came from. My favorite is their Cab Franc, which is strange as I'm not a red wine enthusiast. Paul Bush himself recommended it & he wasn't wrong. I just wish they had delivery. C'est la vie!

Love this place. Really nice vibe sitting outside under some trees, sipping some wine and eating some snacks. You have to try the goat cheese! It's the best around. The service was amazing. The gentleman with the long hair went above and beyond to take care of us. He was knowledgeable, fun and friendly. I'm new to wine but flight number 3 was great. Can't wait to go back.

Madrona is so close to highway 50, if you're passing by, you might as well stop in. The tasting room has outdoor seating under the shade of big trees. They don't have much for food but you can grab a wedge of cheese and some crackers to soak up the wine you'll be tasting. Our server was knowledgeable and gave us lots of info in the wine and club membership.
