Just came here and look at my large drink. The cup is literally full with ice. I took 6 sips and my drink was already gone. If I wanted a cup of ice with a side of tea that would've been fine but I didn't.

I would like to say, 7 leaves gave me a bad headache for 3 days. Would not recommend if you get lightheaded easily.

7 Leaves is a chain, so why would I give it such a good review? It's because it's the standard to judge all other boba places on. When you order from here, you know exactly what you're going to get. Your order always comes out quickly, no matter how busy it gets, and the drinks are always consistently well made. It's one of the few places open early enough for you to order from before work. The menu is varied just enough to not overwhelm you. If you're skeptical, order a Thai Tea from any boba place and compare it to here. I think you'll have a hard time finding a lot of places that can measure up to--or even beat--7 Leaves.

We had some good boba here! Came here on a Saturday afternoon so it was quite busy. We ordered the Mung Bean Milk Tea and waited about 10 minutes for our drink. The decor inside is very cool, with comfy couches and tables to work/study on. The one downside is that it seems that almost every seat was taken while we were there, so it might be hard to find seating here. The mung bean milk tea was very solid. It had a distinct sweet mung bean flavor which was refreshing. I like how it didn't taste too grainy (mung bean tends to be grainy sometimes) but rather blended nicely with the other ingredients. I think I won't go out of the way to come here again but if I am close by I will definitely come back!!

This location is conveniently off the 17 which makes it a perfect stopover whenever I am heading back to Santa Cruz.What sets them apart from other shops is the quality of their teas. They use high quality tea leaves to brew their tea and you can build your own with whichever milks, flavorings, and toppings you desire.I usually go with their Assam Milk Tea with Oat Milk and Boba. Always go half sugar because they already use a lot of sweetener and this was a perfect amount. My drink was prepared well and very satisfying.The shop itself is relaxing and chill. There's lots of room to do work or meet somebody. Highly recommend this 7 Leaves!Dietary restrictions: Non-dairy milk available

This place is a lot better now and is one of my go to places for morning coffee. Too bad they don't open before 7am, but that's understandable. I love putting in mobile orders for pick up because they are so fast. The seats here are always taken, so if you plan to visit or work from home here, plan accordingly because this place gets packed! Make sure to get the house coffee, the barney, taro and mung bean. My favs!

They don't have any drinks that aren't ridiculously sweetened, and don't warn you about it. I ordered an herbal tea and it tasted like southern sweet tea. Replacement tea was also way too sweet and was iced down 100% for some reason. Not coming back here

Very sad to give a negative review to 7 leaves!! We came on Sunday of last week (26th of Nov) between 3-4 pm, I drink my coffee hot- anyyy type, no sugar. I asked the barista about a couple of options she said they are cold and have sugar. I asked her about anything else no sugar and hot she said no we don’t have. I said fine and asked about the herbal tea, she said it’s herbal. I asked what’s the flavor of it ? Is it green? Black? Like tell me what is it! The girl seriously was having the same straight face and she was literally giving the answers of No or repeating it ‘it’s herbal’! You know what? I was willing to get anyyyy answer just to go ahead and order anything, at this point I didn’t mind to drink something I hate but to get seated and spend time there because I already went out specifically for coffee with my family! The rudeness of the barista made me say ok I’m out, I asked my husband what he’s gonna order he said ok let’s leave, if you won’t order something! It makes sense— I’ll be sitting and not even ordering anything? Why did I go for coffee in the first place. At this point we decided to leave. It’s so awkward to me because I’ve been to 7 leaves before and I can recall I was able to find anyyyy hot drink for myself :) it’s just a hot beverage! I’m not asking for anything special! Basics !!! I was v disappointed, I ended up at another coffee place- you know what, I even wouldn’t have minded drinking something I totally don’t enjoy just if the service was a bit professional! You need to grab some boba here!!!! The boba here is so delicious, and while the menu doesn't have a million options, the options there are amazing! There's always freshly made pastries too! The drinks are made incredibly fast, which I'm not sure if you should worry about, or not. The people here are always friendly, and patient as you order, and there's always chill lofi music on. The place is quiet, so if you wanted to do homework or something in the back, you definitely could! Overall, I think 7 Leaves is great, and if you like boba and are nearby, you should check this place out!!

Came into this coffee shop as i was craving vietnamese coffee.Ordered a cold brew with extra 2 shots and was phenomenal! Would come again. But just a heads up, they put A LOT of ice in the cold brew.I ordered a second one with eazy ice and was a better selection. The hot coffee only comes in one size, which is a bummer as my gf likes hot brews.Also, parking can be a little tricky as it shares with other businesses.
