A couple months ago, we decided to try this little restaurant. It had all of these fantastic reviews and the parking lot always seemed full (it's a small lot but was always packed).We ordered for takeout and the first problem was that our food wasn't ready at the promised time. OK, no big deal. It's a pretty small restaurant and it was busy. I was fine waiting a little bit longer. It ended up being at least another ten minutes. It was somewhat frustrating, but good food is worth waiting for.Wrong.There was nothing good about our meal. It was flavorless and the sauce was awful. I ended up taking three bites and tossing the rest because I couldn't eat it. My husband's food was only slightly better. He was able to get through about half before he gave up and tossed his, too.We sat there, baffled. How could something that was rated so well be so awful? Normally we would give a restaurant another chance in case we went on a bad night or ordered something that wasn't one of the best things on the menu, but it was overpriced and I didn't feel welcomed by the staff when I arrived (they actually suggested I leave and come back in a few minutes).Bottom line: there are much better Italian restaurants in the area that are actually worth it. Don't waste your time or be duped by all the glowing reviews.

Was super excited to try this place, reviews amazing and looks like a neighborhood favorite. That said, pasta was extremely overcooked, two different ones. The pizza was a heavy weight crust with little taste, not an Italian crust. The tables need to be removed and a deep clean on the floors as the layers of grease have created a slick surface, this often happens in older restaurants. It's not that it's dirty either, it's clean, just has that grease layer that is tough to get off.Staff was nice but a bit slow serving and checking on us but the clearing staff was absolutely amazing and helpful~!!!

Nice atmosphere and ambiance, great service, and delicious food. We had Cheesy Garlic Bread, as an appetizer. Then, Spaghetti Puttanesca and Chicken Broccoli Mushroom Fettuccini for our entrees, both excellent. We took some Tiramisu home, too full to enjoy it there, soaked with rum & Kahlua, yum.

Delicious! I take out all the time! Grilled salmon piccata and chicken Marsala????best chicken ever!! Very balanced with sauces. (All other restaurants I tried food is too salty for me). But this one is just right!
I had the salmon piccata. It was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had, but I'll definitely order it again.

I went here on a Saturday night with a friend at 6:00 without a reservation, and we had to wait half an hour for a seat. Complimentary bread was served, and we split the calamari appetizer which was very good. I had the lasagna which was also very good, and very filling! I managed to finish it without bringing a box home, but I haven’t been that full in a very long time. Overall, a great Italian family restaurant with good food and good portions!

My family and I found this family run restaurant by chance. The food is Delicious!!! They give you generous portions, and are very attentive to their customers. My daughter had the chicken Marsala. She said she should have taken another order home. It was that good. I had their meat ravioli and it was delicious also. This is our go to spot when we are in the San Jose area. I highly recommend this Italian restaurant. It gets quite busy. I'm so glad we were there early. We forgot to take pictures. It looked so good we forgot to. Lol
