Used to go on Topanga a lot....the place was filthy but the food and the menu were good. Here the place is new and still clean but the menu sucks and the service is "ok"! Will never go back again.

This place is TINY! My friends and I tried it out since the one on Topanga closed down. It was weird that they served us water in paper cups... The food was ok and the Asian guy server was really nice and accommodating.

We've been customers for over 5 years when the location was in Chatsworth. We were disappointed they moved to Northridge and are not able to visit as frequent but we go as often as possible. The quality of the food is always consistently great, from the edamame, sashimi, sushi or rolls. Danny and his staff are kind and welcoming. They come by frequently to make sure all is well. The restaurant is clean and has a relaxing atmosphere. The music volume could be a tad lower. There's plenty of parking in back. You can make reservations or walk in.

Great quality, good services, it is kinda small place, but this place is going to be my new hidden gems to get my sushi.

It was our first time doing omakaze and it was amazing, everything tasted really fresh, the portions were very good and the service was quick and friendly. 5 BIG STARS across the board!! New hidden gem discovered

Good good reasonable price. We got the rainbow row and some avocado rolls the drinks are reasonable we also got the spicy ramen. We used to go to another spot that charged more for skinny rolls! Good spot for sushi here

I'm so disappointed with baked salmon that I just have no words :(((It wasn't 4 stars roll but I would hate to ding your ratings , just want to point it out.The roll was dry, the salmon on top was dry and fishy, no sauce on the roll and the sauces came with it made no sense . I would hate to say , but the old place rocked that basic roll a lot better.I hope for a better roll next time .

I miss the old location more. Even if it shared a sketchy parking lot with a (not even 8) motel. It's weird how they have a sushi bar but only utilize the very end of it for dine-at. Also, came with my cousin and it's the weirdest thing that they'd put rolls in front of whomever ordered them instead of at the center of the table. I'm not used to that at any Asian restaurant. But the sushi was good. Shishito peppers were more of a salad than of the peppers.Restroom was clean. Oddly enough the circuit breaker box is located in there?Very mixed feelings. I'm sure I'll be back because I didn't even order my normal blue crab handroll.

Overall, 2 Die For Sushi caught me off guard from the ambiance, to the food, and to the service. Hands down a nice little hole in the wall in the valley when it comes to sushi. We opted for the Omakase ($45 dine in only) with one extra app and roll, and to say we were full was an understament. If you're looking for a fun little sushi date or just craving it, you gotta go, and you won't regret leaving or your wallet hurting.

We came here for lunch place opens at 12:30. There was 3 other tables seated however the chef wasn't here to serve anyone and were told he is always late. We had to wait for 20 mins for the chef to arrive then start preparing before service. Won't be coming back for sure.

New sushi hotspot in Northridge. Great happy hour after 8pm and lunch deals. Sushi is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend even just the basic rolls because the fish is just that good. Friendly service and you can tell the owner really loves what he does.
