“Thai Blvd Bistro, is a "hidden gem" on Vanowen in Canoga Park. There are no fancy signs and it is located in a small crowded strip mall, with limited and tight parking. The restaurant has a small and intimate dining space, together with well appointed tables and decor. I really liked the soft jazz piano music that constantly played in the background. We were here for lunch and ordered two entrees plus two individual rice portions ($3 each). Both the mains arrived well presented with eye catching optics. The Penang Curry with chicken was silky, thick and married well with the protein that melted in your mouth. The Pad Prik King with Beef had great depth, the right amount of oily gravy to impart fullness and the beef pieces were nice and tender. The beans were optimally cooked for crunch and color. Both dishes were bursting with flavors, textures and each imparted distinct and satisfying tastes. However, customer service could have been better. It was hurried, abrupt and indifferent, all through the dining experience.“
“I came over around the afternoon, after being done seeing customers walking out with stuffed bags. I finally decided to try the food. The staffs are really nice, the food is BUSSING.I would definitely recommend the teriyaki chicken, spicy beef, or black pepper chicken. For soup, it would be miso soup, egg drop soup, wonton soup, and the beef noodle soup. If you looking for a crispy snack i would say the cheese wontons. They're super crispy and flavorful. The cheese is warm and melts inside your mouth. I would say the best combo would be steamed rice , shrimp and veggies, with teriyaki chicken. The chili oil makes everything taste 10x better! Be sure to ask for extra or you'll regret it.THIS IS NOW MY GO-TO PLACE FOR LUNCH!Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly with kids! They also have a couple toy capsule machines for kids! ( tattoos, balls, mini keychains, fake gold accessories, and more! YOUR KID WILL ENJOY THIS PLACE!“
“I was there earlier this morning. Sweet couple helped me out with choosing my to go food. 1st timer but they made me feel at home with ease. Good choices of food like, liver steak, kare-kare, beef steak, longganisa, etcetera. They even offered me free soup. I couldn't wait to get home and taste it. It's not a disappointment at all. Yummy to the max.... I'll come back again“
“Want noods all day this is the to go place for yummy egg noodle with any choice of meat and veggies that you can fit all in a bowl or hanging off your bowl to be exact. Love the help from the cook when they add sauces to your bowl after adding all the noods. May I have it spicy! Yes please! Prices are higher from what I remember but still same good taste.“
“We got there at the moment the door opened due to an unfortunate let down at swatch, so needless to say that we weren’t in the best of moods. That being said, from the moment we walked up, to being greeted and seated, the staff created an environment that was very warm welcoming. Our server was Manny and we could not have been happier with the service from ordering, to presentation, to recommendations on the order of meats we should grill, to bringing our check. The entire time we were so pleased by the service that though we were let down by another business, we left Topanga Mall very happy and satisfied.?We got the Meat Lovers order for 2, BOMB!!!“
“Didn't disappoint. Good food.Update as of Feb 17, 2024.All I ever ordered is the RibEye bowl, and up to this point, it has never disappointed. What I received today was NOT Ribeye. It was some other subpar meat. Looks like it was a mixture bits of RibEye and some other meat thinking no one would notice. This tactic of trying to cheat me is very disappointing.“
